This was my second time at the Alisa Hotel North Ridge Accra.
The staff are very friendly and well trained.
Rooms very comfortable ...large and clean.
Breakfast is fantastic with a wide variety of food available.
The hotel is well located in a very quiet street not too far from the airport and the main malls.
Hotel Shuttles ferry guests to and from the airport.
After staying in a number of hotel in Accra.
From now on I am calling the Alisa Hotel home.

This hotel is a way from Central Accra, but is only an extra few minutes and taxis are cheap.............it is a fabulous hotel and the dutch owner is trying hard to improve it, and indeed this is the best value for money hotel in Accra.
The food is very good and not expensive, but you do have to wait as they cook it fresh, the setting is fabulous, although is a shame that the sea is polluted there, the hotel staff clean it regularly, but this is a failing of The Ghanaian govt not the hotel.
Nicely located, pretty and interesting interior and exterior décor, nice use of stone walls outside. Room was clean, clean linens, nice balcony. AC, TV, and fridge in the room functioned properly. There was a functioning bedside lamp, too! And the lights and water heater worked in the bathroom. Water pressure for shower was pretty good. (Keep in mind, this is Ghana, and such simple things are a joy to have.) The interior decor everywhere was interesting, with fresh use of color and textured paint on the walls. You can tell that care was taken in designing and decorating the place.
Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was a nice surprise, with freshly made waffles that were tender inside and crispy outside. Fresh squeezed pineapple juice was a treat. Dinner of grilled lobster was well done and good sized portions.
I have been looking for a place to stay regularly when I travel to Accra (I live I Cape Coast) and I think this will be the place. It is close to the airport, close to good grocery chopping (Koala and Marina Mall) and not too hard to get to The Shoprite at Accra Mall. It is very close to the US Embassy, if you have business there.
I would definitely stay here again.
