“Very functional& clean”
The staff is great very attentive..most of them always have a smile on the faces..very clean & is great that there is a partition between beach vendors & us also a guard on sight..I felt SAFE in walking around the enchatchment area..my friend & I we used the local buses on the main road & we didnt feet threatened... Very impressed with the service from Expedia from start to finished..will right more to you soon.. VERY GOOD LOCATION
“recommend with reservation.”
It's a very old hotel. Not much english spoken. That was a plus for us but might be a problem for others. The hotel can be described as clean but tired. It is an old hotel. That said, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean. The food was plain. The drinks were great. The Pool was very small. The beach was great. It's a 2-3 star hotel.
“Ritz Acapulco is worth the investment”
This is my 15th trip to Acapulco and 10th staying at the Ritz. While it is not an upscale property or have many lavish amenities it has everything that you need to enjoy yourself in Acapulco. It's directly on the beach, close to many restaurants and shopping opportunities and features an all inclusive package that keep you hydrated and fullly nurished during your stay. Many of the staff have been at the hotel for years and treat their guests like family.
“Excellent in Acapulco”
From our first encounter with the staff this was a wonderful trip. This is an older hotel but still GREAT! we a an excellent room with a very comfortable bed that looked out onto the Ocean. the view from our balcony was perfection. The food was excellent! the menudo was the best I hae ever had in a resturant. The staff was so gracious. Shopping and resturants were just outside of he hotel. The massages were terrific. It was a very comfortable experience for us.
“A nice resort for the money.”
The Ritz Acapulco was a good choice for our vacation. The activity staff was very friendly and really tried to make sure that everyone had a nice time. The location was great. The beach was very nice, and there was good entertainment and alot to do. The food was acceptable, although mostly Mexican dishes. The hotel was clean, although our room was missing the couch and most of the light switches did not work for some reason. Other than that, I don't have any complaints, and would recogmend this hotel to someone who likes to have fun on a budget.
“I wish I could quit my job and live there”
The room itself was somewhat unimpressive, but do you really want to spend all your time in the room anyway??? The staff was extremely friendly and talkative, and the food was delicious. We ate like pigs for the entire week! And with the classes you can take, you'll never be bored. Even more, it has its own roped off section of beach, which prevents some of the many beach vendors from harassing you every two seconds (they still try to get your attention, but at least if you're in the roped off area they can't get that close). I'd love to go back to Acapulco and the Ritz!
“Ritz Poor Management Service”
The hotel staff was extremely rude to friends when they came to visit for a few minutes. Would not allow guests past the lobby.
“2 star hotel in a 1 star city”
The hotel is okay considering its age, but like Acapulco city, it's in desperate need of modernisation. I went to Acapulco based on the fact it was the only Mecican city I had heard of on the Pacific coast and the famous Elvis film!! Hotel Review: One of the better hotels in the dirty city. Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean. Rates are expensive considering Acapulco is a dump. Beach location is nice but you might catch a nasty disease in the dirty sea-water! Hotel is all-inclusive. There is 1 main restaurant (buffet) where you can eat almost all day. There is 1 Italian restaurant that you have to pre-book and can only use once per week. Food in main restaurant serves a mixture of Mexican recipes and changes every night. The hotel has a small private beach but this does not stop people trying to sell you stuff all day long! Cabaret entertainment is okay. Tequila is wonderful.
“I'd stay again next month!”
+'s were a stunning ocean view room, incredible activities staff, great beach, fun band & shows each night. ok food and drinks. -'s were street noise, slow elevators, and 1 low quality towel per person.
