“will definately stay there again”

Great hotel. Extremely clean, staff is ALWAYS cleaning. Hotel room very spacious and clean with a wonderful view. Majority of families with children there. Hotel restaurant with great food but you can easily find more affordable food right outside of hotel. Great location, in the middle of the main strip. Quick cheap bus ride to everything.

“Hotel Emporio - Center of the Acapulco Universe!!!!!”

From the moment we stepped off the plane in Acapulco greeted by our driver we realized we had arrived in Paradise. The hotel was clean and elegant. our room was spotless and perfectly situated for viewing the bay and beach from the balcony. The staff at the restaurant welcomed us daily with smiles and were always ready to carry a precariously position plate from the buffet to the table. I swam in each of the pools at least once and found the large circular pool to be my favorite. Outside the hotel you are perfectly located on the strip with clubs, shopping and restaurants easily within walking distance. This was One Fabulous Vacation!!!!!!

“Great Location”

Location, location, location! It was great! The hotel is located directly across the street from the Diana mall, a market and a few bars were within blocks. The Baby Lobster where you can dance on the bar. The Paradise where if you have enough nerve you can bungee jump was nice too. There were a few nice open air restaurants within walking distance. Just to name a few El Froggo, Maria Bonita was nice, El Zirto. There is a mini about 4 blocks and a main restaurant is about 8 blocks from the hotel. The Emporio offers an AI package we did not take it. I wish we had because they have a very nice breakfast buffet and the all-inclusive includes drinks. I can not say about the dinner buffet but I hear it was nice. The TX BBQ place in the hotel was good but not included w/the AI Every afternoon they offered 2 for 1 Margaritas which was good for those who did not take the AI. We requested one of the higher floors and the view from the balcony was beautiful! The hotel is in the center of the bay (yes I am back to the location) which made for great photo opportunities The rooms were very spacious, clean and fresh. No mildewy smell! We had two adjoining rooms which with the doors open made it feel like a suite. There is not much for the kids to do on land and the current in the bay is very strong. Most adults did not even brave it. I could go on but let me end by saying. The Hotel Emporio is the bridge from the city hustle & bustle and night life to the bays tranquil, beautiful shore.

“Fantastic Experience, would definitely return”

The check in process was wonderfully quick and efficient. After traveling for many hours we were able to check in immidiately upon we arrival, which was quite earlier than check in time. We were so relieved. While not guarenteed, they accomodate when they can. The hotel stay was perfect. The room was in excellent condition, the grounds were immaculately kept, the pools were beautiful, clean and refreshing. The adult pool was a nice change from the kids pool, but neither were particularly busy while we were there. I was surprised that to sit on the beach chairs you needed to pay, even within the hotel "fenced off" part of the beach. But if that's the biggest thing to complain about I'm not too upset (not to mention I'm sure it is the same across the beach). The peddlers get a little annoying (again, everywhere), but they don't approach you when you're walking, so keep moving! We ate at the buffet twice. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. The food was good and plentiful, though certainly not gourmet. There are better deals to be had, but this was convenient. The check OUT process took FAR longer than expected. We checked out while there were a lot of people checking in/out when we were leaving (11am) and it took us at least 30m to get through the line and get checked out. That was very frustrating with a plane to catch. Over-all it was a FANTASTIC experience and I would absolutely go back again. And again. And again.

“Next time in Acapulco this will certainly my hotel of choice.”

The hotel is extremely well located; in the center of town with direct access on the beach. The pool facilities are first class with a different one with water slide for the kids Even the adults can enjoy a 4 foot deep corridor where they can do lengths. The hotel is extremely clean and the efficiency style of room allowed us to take a leisurely breakfast on our balcony facing the ocean. The only thing I would improve is to have the room cleaning crew start earlier so that you don`t have to wait sometimes until 6 or 7 pm to have you room done. Otherwise, 5 star facilities and service

“Loved it!”

M y boyfriend and I just returned from this hotel, and we loved it! The rooms are spacious, clean and fairly modern, and everyone has a balcony with an ocean view. There was even a small kitchen with full sized refrigerator! The hotel itself is kept up very well. We were very relieved that there were two adult only pools; the kids pool is very crowded on weekends. Also, avoid the hot tub; it was mostly kids, some wearing diapers. We did not get the all-inclusive plan, but we had the breakfast buffet a few days and it was very good, but was $18 per person. Across the street were two restaurants that have a cheaper breakfast that was good if you don't get something too crazy. We only had the lunch buffet once, it was not very good for the price, but we ate at the pool grill which was better. We did not eat dinner at the hotel; there are plenty of good restaurants in town to choose from. We liked Su Casa, Bella Vista, & La Mansion. Drinks at the hotel were reasonably priced. The location was a short cab ride away from most places, no more than 80 pesos (~$8). The staff is quite helpful and makes every attempt to communicate in English. We would definently stay again.

“Emporio deserves four stars, excellente!! Gracias!”

We arrived one day late, thanks to a missed flight, but this was not the hotel's fault. I sent message on to the hotel, informing them of our delay, and upon arriving, I found the Emporio to be a wonderful place to stay. We had upgraded to the included continental breakfast package, and . rented cabana service the days of our stay, and since we are early risers, a 7am sign-in to reserve was no problem. Our drinks and snacks on the beach wiped out the rental fee every day, and I appreciated the hotel security keeping the merchants outside the fence(unless invited in by us!!) I think the reports of danger in Acapulco may be perpetuated by the tour guides in and around Acapulco, who would have you use only their services! Of course you want to be practicing a reasonable amount of caution in any big city all around the world,,, you face the same risks most everywhere else. We were in the hotel lobby one afternoon when some people from outside the hotel(not guests), got into a quarrel with the bellmen,,and, oh boy, the hotel security people were on them very quickly and put an end to that! In all, I felt very secure as a visitor to this beautiful resort city, and the location is perfect, the best beach in Acapulco, and the hotel staff, like the people of Acapulco, are very friendly!! Thank you Emporio, and we hope to come again. Also, our Expedia rep on premises every day, Joel ,was top notch, and handled our transfers and tour activities to our complete satisfaction.
