“pleasantly surprised”

Although the hotel looks a bit old on the outside, once you walk into the lobby the weariness of staying in this hotel disappears. The lobby was spacious, unenclosed, and full of friendly employees anxious to greet. Check-in was pretty quick and the room was very nice. The room's interior design was simple yet elegant and the view from the balcony was amazing. The only negative was that there was no beach access from the hotel but the central location was great (a two minute walk to Paradise Bungy!)

“Best Location”

The hotel was centrally located to great resturants, night clubs and the local market for buying gifts for family. Our hotel was beautiful, you could walk down the stairs and be on the beach in less then 2 minutes. Plenty of cabanas and the ocean water was calm, clean with beautiful rocks. No need to pack alot because they have a laundry room for washing and drying. My only problem with the hotel was that if you wanted to use the gym of course they charged for it and you had to use the days in a row, which limits trying to get gym time in if you want to plan an excursion. Overall I would definetly stay there again.

“Absolutely Gorgeous”

Acapulco is absolutely gorgeous. It was a lot less glamorous than a lot of other Mexico cities, but it has its own charm. My boyfriend and I went down for a long weekend and the hotel was beautiful and the view was amazing. It does get a little noisy at night, but it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. We did not eat at the hotel other than drinks because it was so pricey. We did have some great meals like chips, salsa, guacomole; fajitas; and two drinks a piece for about $25 dollars US. I brought $100 worth of one dollar bills and I thought this was very convienant for tips. You do get hasseled everywhere outside of the hotel (street, beach, and one of the restaurants a few blocks down) to buy this or that and the children can be very persistant, but just ignore them and they will move on. Acapulco is big on their nightlife and they stay out till all hours of the morning. The two fro one tequila drinks is great too since its so much cheaper than the hotel bars. I don't feel that safety was an issue. The hotel room was beautiful, but the shower seemed to be made for shorter individuals. We had a regular one bedroom room with one balcony overlooking the pool and oceanside. There was a small fridge with nothing in it which was nice so we could put some drinks in there. All in all we could not beat this for the price we paid and it was ten times better than what I had expected from some of the reviews. This is definitely the "fiesta" hotel to go with in comparison.

“I would definately go back to this Hotel !”

At our arrival to the Fiesta Americana Hotel everything looked beautiful like in the pictures. The sales people were bugging us to enroll in their vacation club program and told us about their 90 minute presentation that took 3 hours..... I finally had to say I wasn't able to at the moment. Other than that the Hotel was just how I pictured it to be, very clean, comfortable. Yes, the quite side it much better.

“Highly recommended!!”

This hotel has fabulous views all across the bay of Acapulco and is on the beach front. Large clean well equipped rooms. The pool area has plenty of sun beds and umberellas and the staff around the pool area are extremely helpful they are always available and eager to find sun beds or umberellas. The restaurants and food areas are very good, but the rooms have facilities to cook and store food, so you don't always need to eat out if you choose. I would definately go back to this hotel and would highly recommend it. It is situated in the main part of Acapulco with lots of shop, bars and restaurants around it. Fabulous hotel and very helpful staff.

“Def will stay again”

Absolutely perfect! We've stayed in the Fiesta Inn and loved that too. Clean and comfortable and definitely a home away from home. Fridge, microwave, DVD player, movie rental, and store for food, drinks and other items. Making this the only place to stay for us.

“Great rooms, great people, bad food.”

Check in is horrible because you will wait in line for a half hour. The room was GREAT, and the air conditioning was awesome!! One puzzling thing is that once I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and I noticed that the TV, AC, and bathroom lights were all OFF. I had them all on when I went to sleep. Then, as I was walking toward the bathroom they all came roaring to life....ok. The service is GREAT, everybody is very friendly! The food is not all that bad nor good. Breakfast buffet is around $22 USD and has few options. It opens at 7am or so says the sign, but not all the food is ready until like 730am. The milk is not cold at first, you should not drink it right away at 7am if you go that early. wait until 8 when it has had a chance to refrigerate right. I ordered room service twice and they made my food wrong both times. The first time my fries were cold. The second time they did not bring me the ketchup and mayonaise I ordered. I would recommend this hotel also for its location, great!! Beds were good to sleep in and so were the pillows, but one of the beds had a few stains and holes in the comforter (looked like bleach stains on accident). No big deal. Also, my room was spider-cockroach free!!! FLAT PANEL TVS WERE GREAT!!! p.s. The minibar comes empty, you have to ask them to fill it if you want something.

“Acapulco”

Nice place to stay. It did have a slight mildewy smell but we chalked it up to being in the tropics.
