“Amazing formula 1 experience”

We stayed at the Yas Viceroy during the grand prix weekend and can't rave enough about the hotel. The hotel was very well prepared for the GP and security was well organised. The rooms are more like suites based on their size and have all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The roof terrace bar is lovely. Breakfast was expensive (£30 pp) for what it was (continental breakfast) but the service was very good. We ordered room service a number of times during our stay and it was very prompt and the food very good and hot. Be aware that all items bought at the hotel are subject to 10% service charge and 6% tourist fee so the price quoted is clearly less than you actually pay. This does however remove the need for tipping on food and drink. During GP weekend there will be live music until 3am every morning so be aware of that if you stay. The views from all sides of the hotel is good. As you are only 15-20 mins from the airport there are also a number of planes passing over the hotel throughout the day. It didn't bother us but it may be an issue for some people. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel, especially during GP weekend. You will get quality and service as you expect and hope to get from a 5 star hotel.

“As good on the inside as it looks on the outside!”

Superb hotel set around the Yas Marina circuit. Deluxe room as described and very modern! Food from one of the many restaurants was reasonably priced and excellent! Only negatives are the lack of sign to find the hotel and for some reason balcony handles on both rooms had been removed to prevent balcony access. Otherwise superb, a must for any F1 fan!

“Great place to stay - especially during Grand Prix!”

This hotel was everything we expected, and more. We especially loved the roof cocktail bar and the Origins restaurant. It is a bit of a trek into Abu Dhabi centre but the staff are always very helpful at getting taxis which are very reasonably priced and plentiful.

This hotel when you turn up at it at night looks fantastic-it is right next to the F1 Race track and is just so impressive. The hotel inside looks great the rooms are large adn comfortable- Just a wonderful Hotel

I stumbled upon this hotel due to going to Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. Wow, what a gem. This hotel is excellent and far above 5 start standards. Everything from the room, dining experience, gym, pool, and service is wonderful. In comparison to the JW, Waldorf, and Ritz Carlton brands the the Viceroy is head and shoulders above! A great find if you enjoy modern architecture, are a race buff, or just enjoy quality service, spa, dining, and atmosphere. Book it!

“Made us feel really welcome”

We were made to feel very welcome by all staff from the word go. Our two and half year old was indulged and cared for and positively spoiled by staff at the rooftop pool. Overall a very relaxing week in a clean hotel with caring staff in a spectacular location. ( looking at formula one track and Yas Marina from the room). Wow. Travel to airport by taxi about 25dhs and Abu dahbi mall about 60dhs.

It was a wonderful experience, especially the view from the room was breathtaking. Although the service was bit slow but was not a major concern. I would certainly recommend the hotel to those who love the formula one as the entire theme of the hotel is on those lines. It is a complete disconnect from the hectic work and city life...a sporty heaven one must visit!!!
