The eight-floor Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort features 272 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which open onto balconies and include satellite television, direct-dial phones, wireless Internet access, bathrobes, slippers and tea and coffee making facilities. La Mamma - Popular family restaurant serving Italian cuisine from its open kitchen. Menu includes a large antipasti buffet, pasta and pizza dishes in addition to a wide range of gourmet main courses. Open for lunch and dinner.
El Sombrero - Decorated in vibrant colours, this Mexican restaurant offers a choice of South American dishes. Three private dining rooms seating up to 12 guests are also available. Open for dinner.
Flavours - Contemporary, informal restaurant with pool and garden views serving a range of Far Eastern and Western dishes. Three open kitchens. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with buffets and weekly theme nights.

“Excellent Staff, Excellent Location”
Rooms were clean and the staff couldn't have been more friendly.
“Reasonable But Slightly Dated Hotel”
The Sheraton is one of the older hotels in Abu Dhabi which means unfortunately it is now a little dated (when compared with other hotels in the city although would hold up well against similar European city hotels). Within the price bracket the Sheraton sits in there are better options within the city. Pitching it as a beach hotel is also a slight misnomer as the beach is immediately next to a bridge.
“Tunnel construction around as the main impression”
Mixed feelings - that is probably the best description. Sheraton bed the most comfortable thing for sure. Beautiful massage in the wellness center - but practically no other activities - the trainer of pilates and aquaerobic left for good as I was said. Nice people in the reception, doing their utmost to make my stay as comfortable as possible - but the tunnel construction surrounding the hotel, active around the clock was extremely unpleasant. It is noisy, smelly, dusty..... I am quite surprised the hotel does not provide e. g. free shuttle bus to the beach. If going for a business trip to spend just thee night in the hotel, I would not hesitate to come again. But I would not select it for my vacation again until the construction is completed

We had a great stay at the Sheraton! The hotel was very nice and it was great to be have a private beach! Only negative point was all the construction going on around the hotel!

Good quality hotel with its own private beach on a small lagoon. Staff very attentive and helpful. Currently a lot of building work going on all around the hotel location with the accompanying noise in the day light hours.
“Dated, but good service and value for money”
Hotel is rather dated but this was overlooked as good value for money and very good service by all staff. The only real let down was the view from the beach - rather than seeing the horizon you see a flyover and paneled advertising for a new development. Not my idea of a relaxing view - however, close your eyes and all is good.

This hotel was decent, it had a great lobby and restaurants and had all the features of a normal hotel, but definitely not what I would expect from a 5 start hotel. First of all, the front desk staff couldn't answer any of my questions about the hotel like what water sports were offered on their private beach. They also couldn't help with anything I asked about the surrounding area and sent me to track down the concierge. The hotel room was very clean and the bathroom was amazing with a deep tub, separate shower, toilet and bidet. But the room it's self was tiny, just a little bit bigger than the bathroom, with barely enough room to walk around the two twin beds that had to be pushed together because there wasn't even room to have a walking space between them. The room was very bland also, white walls, white bedspread, no art, and no color except for two green chairs and an orange headboard. This was very strange since everything else in the hotel was richly decorated. The beach-side restaurant was closed, which was not mentioned when I made the reservation which I thought was disappointing since I had considered it a highlight of the hotel. The front desk told me the cafe at the pool closed at 8pm, so we tried to order something at 7:05pm and were told that they didn't accept orders after 7pm and wouldn't serve us anything. Since all the other restaurants in the hotel have a dress code, we had to go up and shower and change before we could eat anywhere.
“Fabulous destination. Very returnable”
Abu Dhabi is well worth a visit. The Sheraton Hotel is very well positioned on the Corniche. The hotel has a number of good restaurants - the fish at Il Paradiso was wonderful , we ate their 3 times. The food at La Mamma was exceptional especially the Hammour and the Lamb. The cafe outside the restaurant is the place for dessert, they had a lovely selection of pastries. Everyone at the hotel is very helpful and polite. Getting round is east the taxis are cheap safe and reliable and are all regulated and metered. My daughter and I took several taxi's and felt very safe. We also did a big bus tour of the city which was very interesting. A visit to the Grand Mosque is a must, it really is indescribable, the beauty of the place. My husband played several rounds of golf at the Abu Dhabi Golf course.He said it was one of the best courses he has played.
