“abu dhabi great value”

the only problem we had was not being able to get our room safe fixed. we were there during 40th national celebrations and it was a great time. hotel staff also recommended other local places to eat that we could walk to and watch fireworks. the pool and beach is absolutely lovely. Great place to unwind and enjoy ourselvers. also easy to get to ferrari world. we had a standard king and they put a single bed in for our 14 year old son. room services was also good.

Area recommendations

the hilton is on the corniche which is a great location with a private beach.

Other

skype is illegal here so if you need to use this to keep in contact with family and friends, make sure you have it prior to your visit ot UAE.

“Serves its purpose”

We had a five night stay recently and had numerous problems with the room which included the bathroom light not working, wardrobe doors didn't open, then after they'd been fixed they didn't close and the light inside wouldn't go off. There were tissues and a comb from previous guests on the floor by the bed and the window wouldn't close. The staff were very helpful and apologetic though. The pool was lovely but to get to it you had to walk around the building, down a winding flight of steps and then along the underpass which is under the very busy road. This underpass was a bit grotty and the walk was not pleasant in the heat and also if you needed to get something from your room it was at least a 15 minute trek. It is situated in a good location though and seemed to be a very popular business hotel.

“Perfect, especially the beach club!”

This is the second time we've been here, and I'd highly recommend it. The main factor for us is the private beach club you have access to, swimming pools and the beach. Ideal for kids. Also it is right on the corniche, meaning you can go for a lovely stroll, right out of the door. The location is excellent.

“Very relaxing holiday. Would go back in a minute”

Great holiday at the Hilton, Abu Dhabi.Hotel was great and friendly staff. You had to ask about the amenities as there was nothing in the room telling you about the restaurants or shuttle buses they ran to various tourist attractions. The beach wasn't great. Very shingly and large stones in the water so lay at the pool which was perfect. Great to have a pool especially fo children keeping the other one quieter. Also public can pay to use the facillities and it was very busy on a Friday, the local weekend. It was a short walk to the Marina Mall which was fab with a choice of eating places. The taxis are so cheap we didn't think twice about jumping in one and going to various Malls & Ferrari World. A great week in the sun before a cold winter in Scotland.

“Great with one clarification”

Hilton Abu Dhabi was good or great in most areas. Check in was ok with a slight language barrier. Breakfast was good but nothing special for the region. That being said it was much better than what is usual in other parts of the world. The room was clean but nothing exceptional. The location is on the Corniche very close to the large Marina mall and a few kilometers from most other major attractions. Best was the pool and recreation facilities. Although inconveniently located across the road (With a walkway under the road for access) the pools, water slides, beach, spa and restaurants and bars were great. One thing that should be emphasised is that in the past one pool was designated an Adult pool but the pools are open to all. The signage should be changed to reflect this. We mentioned our confusion with the pool designations to Alaister, the Recreations manager and he was very receptive and professional in hearing and clarifying our concerns. Good room, Great pools, beach and restaurants, Excellent service.

“One of the best hotel Beach Clubs in Abu Dhabi”

It is not the cheapest or the most comfortable, but it has charachter and charm. The staff are friendly and accomodating (but aren't they all), the food isn't the best you will find but it is very palatable. It is convenient for the centre of town as well as the Malls. It also has a beach club that is second to none. Beautiful swimming pools, a clean and tidy beach area that isnt overlooked by buildings or those under construction and pleasant eating areas. It is a place that you can relax and unwind.

“Great hotel, ideally placed”

Had a great 2 nights at the Abu Dhabi Hilton. Spacious room. Well fitted. Good executive service. Great breakfasts included. The concierge is a top guy who got things done for us.

“Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Staff Brilliant! Will stay there again.”

Glad I picked this hotel. The views from the hotel out on to the Corniche (beaches) are breathtaking. Marina mall is a 15 minute walk/2 minute taxi ride away, and the Emirates Palace Hotel is diagonally opposite the Hilton. Couldn't ask for a better location.

Area recommendations

Close to city centre. The Mosque is worth a visit. Hilton provides a shuttle bus there and back - added bonus!

Outdoors or beach

Club house, Spa, beach and pools can be accessed via and underpass - 2 minute walk. Bliss when you get there - variety of pools for the kids and great pool bar and restaurants. Spa and gym facilities lovely.
