“Good for shopping & business”

The hotel is located next to the Al Wahda Mall which has a supermarket in the basement and then all the usual shops and a food court. As the rooms have a freezer and good sized fridge this means you can stock up on favourite foods and snacks making the rooms more homely Reception staff respond to what you want but not much more and checking in was a chore as they hadn't read my request for a front facing no smoking room. The rooms suffer from traffic noise at the front, construction at the back so if you want silence in your room to sleep this isn't the hotel for you. Taxi's are easy to find so travelling to other parts of the city is easy and getting back is straightforward as all taxis know where the Mall is.

“Central and but take a front facing room only”

This apartment hotel offers good sized rooms with a small kitchenette. Located next to a shopping mall, you can keep a stock of your favourite snacks in the good sized fridge. Front facing rooms face onto the busy Airport Road but traffic noise is no more than any other city hotel. The rooms on the back face the Mall which is being extended and construction noise goes on through the night, so if your a light sleeper, make sure your room is at the front. Room service was good and reasonable priced however internet is extra at full European prices. The TV was good quality with a decent range of channels, satellite gave a huge range of Arabic channels. Lots of taxi's pass the door so there are no problems with transport. Aircon was good but slightly noisy.

“Convenient”

I would recommend for you to get this hotel if you want four-star quality for the same amount. The hotel is conveniently located a block away from the Abu Dhabi bus station, where you can catch a bus to Dubai. There's also a nearby five-star hotel (Grand Millennium Al Wahda) and the Al Wahda Mall. Inside the hotel, you'll notice how small the building is - the hallways are kinda cramped and the lobby is really small. I had a small problem when I got there. I requested for a king-sized bed on a non-smoking room with my online reservation. When I got there, they could only offer me a king-sized bed on a smoking room, or a double bed on a non-smoking room. So I agreed to take the king-sized bed on a smoking room but I had to make sure it smelled good. So off the manager went with me to check it. When I got to the room (808 I believe) it was a corner room with nice windows and a huge bed. It didn't smell too smoky, and it was cleaned gleamingly, so I took it. The room is really huge and lively. Nice amenities. Only thing is it didn't have a bathtub. But it's okay.

Area recommendations

If you're visiting Abu Dhabi, I'd definitely recommend dropping by Emirates Palace (the "seven-star" hotel of Abu Dhabi), the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and the Corniche Area. Of course you need to visit Yas Island to see the F1 circuit and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

“Excellent customer service”

I have stayed in a lot of hotels (4 star and 5 star) but I can't think of when I might have received better customer service. Very friendly and helpful staff, always with a smile on their faces. They let me use the room earlier than I'd expected and were always courteous and kind. On the day of my departure (a Friday), they also helped me to find a little convenience store where I could buy some emergency provisions. Highly recommended!

Area recommendations

This area was quite convenient as it is fairly central and on a major artery. I could connect to most other parts of the city by taxi very easily, cheaply and relatively quickly (in spite of the traffic!). Also the nearby Al Wahda mall was very handy.

“Good location and reasonably priced”

The hotel was a very good location, convenient, with easy access to a lot of tourist attractions. People were very friendly and helpful, and it was nice that there was a complimentary buffet breakfast. I would definately go back.

“Very Good”

excellent for short stays of a month or two. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good. Taxis are easy to catch and there is a Mall next door.
