“Skene House Whitehall”

A brilliant series of studios and apartments in the Granite City of Aberdeen managed as a hotel with a reception, a common room and a restaurant. Situated close to the city centre and I have nothing negative to report about this hotel. I would love to go back there.

“Super facility near to town with faultlessly helpful staff and thoughtful details.”

This aparthotel is excellent. It is relatively well placed for town, but if you don't fancy walking the staff are very happy to call you one of Aberdeen's friendly taxi drivers - the fare into town is not much. The reception and concierge staff could not have been more lovely, helpful or pleasant. Checking in and out were easy and straightforward with the Manager offering to go to the kitchen to bring us some breakfast on our final day as we had missed it!!! The apartments themselves are well appointed and even little details have been thought through. There is some garden area at the back which was beautifully swept with all the flower borders neatly raked. Amazing!! The rates were good and the little honestly bar in the lounge is a nice touch. I'd go back for definite!

There is a lovely restaurant down by the harbour called The Silver Darling - highly recommended but book in advance!

“Top class quiet accomodation”

Impressive spacious and clean accomodation, close to Union street in a quiet and safe location. Good continental breakfast, with a good array of choice. Only negative was the price of an optional cooked breakfast. Also makes a change to be issued a card key, and have no problems getting into the room. Well equipped Kitchen, and nice to see a pint of fresh milk in the fridge Complimentary drink on the first night from a well stocked honesty bar. Pleasant and helpful staff

Area recommendations

The busy multi cultural Union street is the place to go, with it's bars and restuarants in easy reach. A trip to the Beach is also a must, with nice clean sands and surfing waves in May!.

“Wonderful experience all around”

I can't say enough about the staff and the hotel. I was having a terrible day, our travel plans had come apart. The staff was so helpful and polite, I couldn't help feeling a bit better. The room was wonderful and comfortable. A terrific place with amazing people. I couldn't ask for more.

“Happily surprised”

We booked this hotel as it was lower cost, and since we were only there for one night, figured that it didn't really matter how nice the place was. The rooms were very spacious, and had a warm feeling. The sink in the bathroom was small in my top floor room, but bathroom was more than acceptable. Very clean and fresh. The bed was a little too soft, so a new mattress would be nice, but it's tough to complain. About a 5 minute walk to Union (main street with lots of restaurants).

“Amazing hotel! Will come back for sure!”

The hotel was GREAT! Very friendly staff, lovely spacious suit, awesome breakfast. Top notch experience. will go back for sure. Everything is so close by, the location is perfect. I even managed a great run to the beach!

Area recommendations

Union Street has lots of shops and great places to eat. The beach is great. I did not have have enough time to explore but it seems there are plenty of road trips to do from that location.
