That’s a great hotel!
It was a great stay. The room was basic but beautiful and clean. The service was great and the breakfast excellent!

Room was spacious but could be more cleaner. The service was okay reception staff not too friendly. The food was okay more option would be better. ovely outdoor space and relax environment. Overall it was a good stay.

No parking for SUV's but good otherwise
Overall a pretty good hotel. We booked 2 rooms for a family vacation. Both rooms were a queen bed and were fine for us adults and our toddler. Rooms were surprisingly small, though, probably the smallest of all the hotels we stayed in during our Europe tour. Hotel provided a crib in one of the rooms for our baby which made it even more cramped. But as a plus the hotel did have the crib ready in the room when we arrived, which was great. Biggest complaint is the complete lack of parking. Their small parking garage only accommodates short cars. If you drive an SUV you will not be able to park in the hotel garage. I had to drop off my family at the curb and drive several blocks down the road until I finally found an available spot on the street. That whole ordeal was very frustrating. Breakfast was good. No issues with check-in or check-out.

basic ibis styles. the room was a bit stuffy with no chair with a back, but i had a great view, it was clean, etc. Good location to walk into town.

Overall the hotel is fine. There is nothing fancy. It is older and the parking situation is hard to work with. The bar downstairs has simple drinks and pizzas which was nice.

Average hotel; crammed room space! Not suitable for business trips, as there is no space for even a table in the room. However, the staffs are very friendly and the reception is just lively.

No existent air conditioning, difficult parking.
The room was clean and well maintained however the air con simply wasn’t good enough even at full force it nevered cooled the room. Opening a window wasn’t much better as then you got the noise from the streets around the hotel. Parking should come with a warning as anything bigger than a small hatchback and your in for a nightmare. We were given no directions whatsoever on how to use the underground automatic parking lifts. If it doesn’t fit in the boxes there are two bays on the ramp in to the car park and if they are full I guess you have to find your own parking. One good point was the breakfast which was plentifull and with a good selection.

Great hotel, central location lovely breakfast
Hotel staff are very efficient and friendly. Disappointed that we couldn’t pre-book or use the hotel car park despite being repeat customers. Also more clothes storage in the room would have useful.

It was nice. Friendly staff. They had some renovations going on but it didn't bother me. The room was smaller than I expected from the pictures but it was big enough for 1 person

Car parking was nightmare.....you also need a environmental free tax disc if you bring your car into the city, checkin reception do not know where to get it from. In the morning the receptionist pointed us to the rights area where we were able to obtain. A disturbed night due to noisy neighbours and the thin walls, compensated by take away items from breakfast bar. Would of expected more. Overall, a typical Ibis hotel in the city set to Ibis standards.

Okay, this is a nice hotel in a nice city, but the decor is a triumph of style over function; orange ceiling panel with multiple lights hanging from it, orange light UNDER the bed!, no usable bed side lights for reading. Please Ibis, let's have a bit of functionality before style! However, the hotel is conveniently placed on the outer edge of the inner city, has it's own car parking (vital in Aachen) and friendly staff. Beware though, the car park is not well signed and missing it is a pain on a one way street.

Surprisingly good value for money
I had a brilliant time at this hotel, staff were very friendly, the room was very stylish, the bed comfy and a modern bathroom with a fantastic shower there was free coffee and fast free WIFI. Breakfast buffet was included in the room price and had a good choice. For what I paid for the weekend, they truly exceeded my expectations.

Great Budget Hotel
This is a great budget hotel with super comfy beds and very good breakfast. You are minutes away from the Old Town and a short walk from the Thermal Spa. The staff are very helpful and the place has everything a modern traveler might want.

A great hotel with nice staff and well located
We had stayed three times before so knew the hotel well. Its on the edge of the centre of town but a short walk (Aachen is not too big) but most importantly we came to stay so that we could visit the nearby Carolus Thermen which its well located for, and I think many guests were doing the same! The hotel is excellent. Its staff are all lovely, the rooms very clean with VERY comfy beds and nice and quiet. Its the perfect place for a good nights sleep. The bar is not very nice downstairs (over lit and a bit sterile) but thats fine as there are lovely pubs in the centre a short walk away and good placed to eat. The breakfast here is GREAT value for money, tasty and large buffet with good coffee :-) Looking forward to going back!! Thank you IBIS Styles!

Friendly hotel with top notch staff!!
I went to Germany (Aachen) knowing next to nothing about their language or how business operates around there. But the staff at this hotel was really kind enough to guide me where I needed to go or explain various stuff I couldn't understand. Overall it was a very nice hotel to stay at and I would recommend it to almost anyone who is looking to have a short stay in the city of Aachen.
