Best hotel we have stayed at in Europe. Would be listed as 5 star if it had a full complement of bell staff and larger elevator. Furnishings are all top quality, porcelain, tile, brass, etc. Very comfortable bed, robes, slippers, coffee maker, iron are all provided. Staff is courteous and friendly. Windows can be opened and face into private courtyard. Rooms are small but not too small to be comfortable. Restaurant is also very good. Only drawbacks; the elevator is tiny and the rooms have unusual slated sections of ceiling that you need to watch hitting your head. Still we highly recommend this hotel.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was!
Ok, not the cheapest, but room comfort like this is extremely hard to find in Paris.
In a cul-de-sac near Invalides, Unesco and Ecole Militaire, it is a quiet spot but yet very close to major attractions.
You even get a farmers market at your doorstep every Thursday and Saturday!
Small hotel but beautifully decorated and has everything you need, except for a restaurant for dinner.
They do have a breakfast area, where buffet breakfast is served every day. Good quality and good options: eggs, bacon, croissants, breads, fresh fruits...
It also has a self serve bar for out of hours, so you can have a drink in the evening.
The rooms are beautiful, good spaces and very comfortable.
We really really enjoyed our stay!
Loved the room, 6th floor looking out on the street. Great view, wonderful linens and hotel staff was the best.
If you have ever heard that the French are not friendly, please stay at this hotel and you will feel very differently.
Wonderful cafes and shops close by and very close to the "open bus" for the city tour. Would stay here again
if we are in Paris.
My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. The staffs were really helpful and the location was near a metro station and the Eiffel Tower! The room was clean and modern. Only wish the bathroom was a bit bigger. Will def stay here again in the future.
Hotel Montalembert was a lovely surprise in an ideal location for culture, restaurants and shopping. The staff was not only professional and accommodating, but personable and engaging. In particular, Benjamin, Pascal and Fabienne. They anticipated every need and worked to iron out any unforeseen glitches in our itinerary. Benjamin recommended two exceptional restaurants. Pascal negotiated with a tour operator when our French proved not to be as strong as we assumed! And Fabienne was always smiling and always happy to assist with daily directions, luggage issues or a last minute cab. A wonderful experience all around.
I've stayed in many boutique hotels in Paris and most have been disappointing because of cleanliness, service, room size, etc. While the rooms at The Bellechasse are small (but comparable size to all others in Paris) the layouts are very nice and so they feel more spacious. The closet has lots of hangers and small for large suitcases. The rooms are very clean, including the bathrooms and were cleaned spotlessly every day. Service is fantastic - from reception to the bellman. The location is the best part. It's on the edge of the 7th, bordering on st Germain - a block south of the orsay museum and 2 blocks north of blvd st Germain. Our block is bustling during the day with little takeaway places and cafés downstairs but quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. It's not too busy but so close to blvd st Germain that a quick 2 min walk leads you into the lovliest area of Paris. I very much enjoyed my stay and will be back for sure!
