Spent 3 nights at the Mulia Resort and didn't leave the hotel. Staff are placed everywhere in the resort and was always greeted with a smile. Excellent selection of restaurants - The Cafe, Edogin and Table8 and good variety of desserts at the Mulia Deli. Rooms are big with massive bathrooms and turn-down service daily. There are several pools on the property and the private beach is kept in pristine condition and patrolled by lifeguards. Mulia is equipped with one of the best gyms I've ever been to. The expansive hotel feels like someone's home - big, inviting and comfortable.
The most amazing views of the ocean, fantastic pools with children's slide, nice clientele, great food, romantic restaurant for couples at night on edge of water, I would highly recommend this hotel only downside if you want to go out you have to get taxis but they are so cheap it does not matter
When we booked this hotel, we just trusted past reviews of this hotel. Did not know what to expect but it was truly amazing. Villa was quiet and clean. Staffs were super friendly. They really took care of us good. Because they only have 20 villas, they really deliver personal and superb service. Food was DELICIOUS! Candle light dinner was good. Very romantic. Their everyday breakfast was so good. We really enjoyed their food. I cannot think of one bad thing about this place. From airport pick up to drop off, enjoyed every moments of our stay.

From the moment of arrival to the last moment when we had to leave for the airport departure all of my expectations and hopes for a tranquil, relaxing holiday were not simply met but highly exceeded. The beauty of the resort complex, the luxury of the villas, the calmness of the breaking of the waves, the whistling of the wind, the ambience that encircled the entire complex was far more than I sought. Having said all of this, there was something beyond these features that made this resort very possibly the very best I have experienced through many years of travel. The staff. Usually you find find at a good resort, some of the staff stand out above all others, our experience here was that we had trouble deciding which staff members achieved a higher level than their co-workers. It would be unfair to pay a tribute to "just" the staff, (although they were superb) without a recognition that staff will only be as good as the Managers that have trained them to be the very best. From the butlers to the reception staff, from the cleaners to the restaurant waiting staff, from the masseurs to the gardeners we could not easily say which of the staff we felt was the best, I guess we saw most of the restaurant waiting staff, (as we spent so much time sampling delights for each meal) but our vote for the best would have to go to Marty, (?) not sure how the name is spelt. All of the staff remembered our names from the time of arrival. My thanks go to all of the staff.
We had a great holiday at the Sofitel. All the facilities were excellent. We spent most of our time at the hotel using the pool, the gym and the Club. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Highly recommended.
