Stayed 3 nights last week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, customer service was excellent. The house is gorgeous with big rooms tastefully decorated also the gardens were beautiful! The food was the best we had during our stay in Marrakech.

A birthday treat for my wife's unmentionable birthday I wanted somewhere that was a little distance from the Medina but still connected. The hotel runs three shuttles into Marrakech a day which resolved this. I wanted somewhere with character and wow factor which the hotel and grounds truly provide. A gorgeous keyhole shaped pool to relax around, a shaded outside restaurant ( Pergola) or fine dining in the main restaurant with daily special menus of the day. A cool bar all staffed with cheerful, helpful hotel personnel all providing attentive but not imposing service.
A wonderful place, strongly recommended.

I treated myself to three nights here to recover from the hassels of two weeks traveling around Morocco and I'm not sure I could have found better. It's a 30 minute drive from Marrakesh with the last 5k along a dirt track and I was collected from the station in a 4x4. Transfer is 30 euros each way, reasonable given the distance and drive, but worth factoring into your costs. I had a junior suite with private terrace which was more than spacious; I've seen flats smaller than the bathroom. It's a real oasis in the middle of the desert with beutiful green grounds and gardens and a pool. The food was absolutely excellent and reasonably priced, I think much of it came from the orgnaic farm. Service was also excellent. I didn't ride as it was far to hot, but they were happy to have me wander around the farm and very keen to show off the new arrival; a three week old foal. When the hardest part of your day is fighting the of sparrows that live on the terrace for your breakfast and avoiding the swallows taking bugs from the pool as you swim you know your onto a good thing.
Only small gripes were the shower tended to flood the bathroom if you were in there for any length of time and the dining room might be ready for a refit soon. The manager may also want to consider some headphones for his kids to use with their computers in the dining room when they're staying.
I plan to return and would definately recommend this as a great place to stay.

The Taj Palace, Marrakeche was a fantastic experience. It was quiet when we went at the end of July which meant that we more or less had the hotel to ourselves. We were met with a refreshing, cold drink and a bracket for luck. Everything was taken care of and the staff made us feel like true royalty. The room was big, spacious and very luxurious. The 'common rooms' were decorated and designed to the highest quality and again, pure luxury. The food was EXCELLENT and we had some of the best sushi ever in the Japanese restaurant. The staff was second to none. Simply the best. We used the spa and felt truly pampered. We can not rate this hotel more than just 5*. Absolutely fantastic and recommended to anyone after a little luxury. One thing to say is that prepare for the additional costs- the food is expensive but absolutely worth it.

Me and my boyfriend loved staying here for a short break. We were hosted with the best service I have ever experienced at a 5 star hotel. Everywhere was spotless and we would regularly get breakfast sent to out room in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they organise all shuttles and private taxis to any destination. The good was lovely, especially the chicken pastillas!! And they introduced a new range of cocktails while we were there for the first time. Which went down a treat! The spa and massage was outstanding and the pool was at a nice warmth. There wasn't a single problem and the atmosphere was comfortable and everyone including fellow guests were very friendly. This was the perfect place to go and relax and I recommend it to anyone looking for just that. Just to prove how involved everyone is. The owner paid us a visit everyday and didn't seem to have a single problem with a gay couple. Thank you for such a great stay!

You'd never know that behind a simple black door there was a wonderful garden, a pool and an outstanding hotel. In the middle of the hurly burly of the medina is an oasis of calm; a perfect antidote to the noise of the town. Hotel itself is superb with very friendly, helpful staff. Food is excellent - albeit too much -and rooms are large and comfortable; a great place for a few days.

Stayed here for a week in October 2014. Spent every other day exploring Marrakech and the remaining days relaxing in the oasis of the Kasbah Dar Ilham. It was an excellent venue for a complete contrast to the busy hustle and bustle of the town. The staff were very welcoming and always ready to help us. The food was delicious and authentically Moroccan. Large swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and nice grounds - and never felt too busy as only eight rooms.

We had a wonderful few days at La Sultana - the staff were so lovely and welcoming. We had the Jaguar Suite which was fabulous and felt special if a little dark which was remedied by it's 2 balconies! The food was delicious. The staff gave great recommendations for dinners out and organised our tours into the Atlas Mountains and around the Souk and any taxi we required.
