I treated myself to three nights here to recover from the hassels of two weeks traveling around Morocco and I'm not sure I could have found better. It's a 30 minute drive from Marrakesh with the last 5k along a dirt track and I was collected from the station in a 4x4. Transfer is 30 euros each way, reasonable given the distance and drive, but worth factoring into your costs. I had a junior suite with private terrace which was more than spacious; I've seen flats smaller than the bathroom. It's a real oasis in the middle of the desert with beutiful green grounds and gardens and a pool. The food was absolutely excellent and reasonably priced, I think much of it came from the orgnaic farm. Service was also excellent. I didn't ride as it was far to hot, but they were happy to have me wander around the farm and very keen to show off the new arrival; a three week old foal. When the hardest part of your day is fighting the of sparrows that live on the terrace for your breakfast and avoiding the swallows taking bugs from the pool as you swim you know your onto a good thing.
Only small gripes were the shower tended to flood the bathroom if you were in there for any length of time and the dining room might be ready for a refit soon. The manager may also want to consider some headphones for his kids to use with their computers in the dining room when they're staying.
I plan to return and would definately recommend this as a great place to stay.

We spent 6 pleasant nights there. Our son had his own bed in what is normally a side room. It had curtains and thus full privacy for him.
There are many different types of rooms so it is suggested that you are aware of what is available and what your needs are. The ground floor rooms, being next to the pool and sidewalks to the other rooms, can potentially be a bit noisy and not as private as the first and second floors.

If you are looking for a relaxing break I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
At first it seems as though the airport is far from the airport (around 35-40 mins) but this becomes less of a problem seeing as the hotel provide a free transfer to and from the airport. Also, this means there is less outside noise around the hotel which is what you want if you're there to relax.
The staff are brilliant and understand English well. Any issues we had were quickly resolved. For instance, we decided when we arrived that we would like to move to a bigger room (to a suite) if there was one available. Luckily there was and we were able to move rooms hassle-free. The hotel appears very family run, which adds to a traditional feel. The food is made from scratch and is delicious. Prices are also very reasonable.
I would recommend that any guests try the hammam experience. The masseuse is also one of the best I have come across and she will leave you feeling truly relaxed. All spa treatments are good value for money compared to the UK.
The shuttle that the hotel provides to the main square is very convenient (this is around 30 minutes away). The driver will take you at 11am and bring you back at 6pm, although you can change the times for a small fee.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Personally, I would love to stay here again if I visit Marrakech again.

We had a wonderful few days at La Sultana - the staff were so lovely and welcoming. We had the Jaguar Suite which was fabulous and felt special if a little dark which was remedied by it's 2 balconies! The food was delicious. The staff gave great recommendations for dinners out and organised our tours into the Atlas Mountains and around the Souk and any taxi we required.
