Very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We took the open top bus tours of the city, visited the Royal Palace and the adjacent Cathedral. We visited La Rozas designer shopping village. We also visited the Rena Sofia gallery
This hotel is situated in a wonderful area, easily accessible to anywhere in Madrid, near great shopping and restaurants, a beautiful neighborhood. The staff is wonderful, they speak excellent English, they are very helpful and knowledgeable and accommodating. The rooms are fine, fairly good sized, well kept, very clean. This is the third time we have stayed at the Wellington and we will continue to come back.
This hotel is in the heart of Madrid, and in unusually quiet section north of Malasana, a very hip, young and busy section of othe city. I really enjoyed the quiet elegance of this new hotel. The staff was AMAZING...very professional, attentive, and discreet. My room was quiet and the king sized bed with amazing pillows helped me get a good night sleep every night. The bathroom was very large with huge amount of counter space. The only issue was the shower was kind of small for the amount of space in the bathroom, but a minor issue to say the least. Overall, I loved this hotel, and will most definitely stay there again on my next trip to amazing city of Madrid.

"Luxury hotel in the best neighborhood of Madrid!"
We loved staying in this luxury boutique hotel in Salamanca! The hotel and neighborhood were perfect for our first visit to Madrid. The neighborhood is filled with the best upscale shops, and restaurants that are frequented by locals, not tourists. The hotel is beautiful, and well-equipped in every way.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Magna in Madrid. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size for Europe. Our room was extremely quiet even though the hotel was busy and the town stays out late - a big plus in my book. Location was close to shopping, the Prado, Buen Retiro park and the botanical gardens. The hotel seems to be somewhat business-oriented but I would highly recommend it.
This is a very nice hotel where the staff are very accommodating, especially the "guest services" staff. The breakfast is very nice. However, my eggs were cold . When I explained this to the waitress, I think the 5 star response would be to get me some hot eggs, but she merely noted that the steamer was probably not working. Yes.....and..
