"Fabulous Views of Athens"
The hotel is located in probably the most beautiful part of Athens, Kolonaki. It is a very classy place, yet not pretentious like the similar class hotels in the US. The staff are pleasant and friendly, yet very professional. They were extremely helpful with every issue and every question we had regarding our exploration of Athens (and believe me, there is a lot to see and experience there). The rooms are clean and comfortable, very quiet considering the hotel is in Athens, with all the amenities. The crown of this hotel is its unique and fabulous terrasse on the sixth floor with panoramic views of Athens, where you can have your breakfast (excellent food with good variety buffet) and plan your day while enjoying the breeze and the beauty of Athens. A memorable stay in the most positive way - will come back for sure.

"Fantastic Hotel but pricey"
Fantastic Hotel. Large, beautiful, modern rooms in typical Hilton style. If you like large, posh, expensive international hotels (i.e. Hiltons) this is for you. Go for Acropolis view and Executive floor / lounge access if you can afford it - keep an eye out for special offers. (If you can't afford that then you should probably stay somewhere else anyway). Executive lounge access gives you an included buffet breakfast in the morning (which is fantastic - cooked and continental eat as much as you like) and drinks in the evening (including some complementary wine from 5 to 7). This hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for. e.g. A bottle of Water is 7.50Euro in the room (just drink the tap water - it's fine). Small mortgage required for room service. There is a supermarket around the back (behind Starbucks) - buy your snacks there rather than from the hotel and you can get another holiday with the money you save. Pool area is fantastic but drinks / food again expensive so be careful. Well located - can walk to most sights in 20-30 mins. Always Taxis out front if you don't want to walk (most sights only a 5Euro fare away). If you can afford it this is THE place to stay in Athens.

"Near centre hotel with accessible transport links"
Overall, an excellent family hotel. Particular positives are breakfast buffet on rooftop, dinner on rooftop with great views, clean hotel and room, friendly staff, proximity to Megaro tube. The roof top swimming pool, visually seems smaller than I had expected given the hotel's size, however, it more than satisfied my two kids. Hotel gym was a little basic, but served its purpose of a suitable aerobic distraction while the family sunbathed on the rooftop.

Pocket Guide: Athens Kolonaki 5 stars Hotels

Near Syntagma Square, home to the Greek Parliament, Athens’ most expensive residential quarter is the domain of wealthy Greeks and foreign embassy staff. Glamorous socialites frequent the fashionable bar-restaurants, chic boutiques and designer stores. A funicular serves the pine-clad slopes of Mount Lycabettus, and several of Athens’ top museums are within walking distance.
