I rarely write reviews but wanted to comment on Jumeirah. It is one of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed at in all my travels, and the staff was excellent! Located about a 2 minute walk from Hauptwache, U-Bahn and S-Bahn access are close by, the HBF is only two stops away, and the airport is about 15 minutes away. The hotel is modern and clean, the beds and pillows comfortable, and has all the amenities one might appreciate. It is located in the same building as a shopping mall and numerous nice restaurants are close by. We stayed in a junior suite which I thought was a good value!! The breakfast buffet was excellent as well as meals in general.

The hotel was selected for a weekend stay to visit the Christmas market, a trip to a football match with my son and generally see the sites of Frankfurt. Having made similar trips to Germany for the same reasons to Cologne, Berlin & Nuremburg I believe the most important factor for such a visit is the location of the hotel followed by the hotel itself. My son and I had no problems with the hotel apart from one small issue of soft pillows which were changed when requested. Our stay included a free continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi plus a superior twin bedded room which more than met our needs and was great value for money.
It's location however was an issue. It was great for train connections to the airport and for us the football stadium with the main line train station directly opposite the hotel but it was a good 15 minutes walk to the main shopping centre where the Christmas market was situated. Fortunately there were some good restaurants to eat on route which meant that we didn't have to walk all the way back into town again of a night time to eat. Meals were available in the hotel but like any hotel were pricey. The underground can be used to visit the centre of town and cannot be more than two stops. The area toward the railway station is a little bit seedy but not threatening in anyway. Would I use the hotel again. For the service it provided definitely. For location, I would probably look for something a little closer to the main centre area.
This was a business trip, my first time to Europe. The hotel was very clean -- even though undergoing construction.
The staff members were very friendly and informative. Free Wi fi in the room allowed me to work on some items when not in the office as well as chat with my family back in the states
I purchased a package that included breakfast and minbar with my room and both were above what I would have expected.
I have already recommended this hotel to other colleagues, who are in the process of traveling there now,
We picked this hotel because it was close to the Christmas market and main shopping street Zeil. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although primarily geared to the business traveller this hotel suited us well as a couple travelling with one parent in 70's. It would probably not suit so well if we were travelling with kids. We ate in the restaurant one evening and found the food to be of a high standard. The bar and waiting staff were really nice. Breakfasts also offered a good selection and although some other reviewers have said that the waiting staff were slow to replenish supplies that is not what we experienced. Would happily visit again.
