5 star El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz Hotels

Close to Jerez de la Frontera, the port of Santa María has flourished from the export of sherry and, like its neighbour, features several famous bodegas, open to visitors. There is a small whitewashed old town, an historic bullring and a castle to explore. The port is also home to a fishing fleet, and there are good beaches to either side of town. Nearby is a new marina-resort, Puerto Sherry.
