Beautiful hotel, central to San Marco and Rialto. Arrived by water taxi from port (highly recommend), straight to hotel door. Elegant foyer, very distinguished professional staff. Luggage held until checkin time (and when we checked out also). Room we had, junior suite for three, was huge, soft golden furnishings, huge bed with double sofa bed for our son. Overlooked canal with opening windows. In the centre of our floor was a shared lounge area, with large balconies overlooking canal, very romantic. Included breakfast was wonderful, very helpful waitress with good selection. Absolutely loved our time in Venice, and if lucky enough to return will certainly stay at the Aqua Palace again. (and the airconditioning worked perfectly!)
Overlooking a typical Venetian canal, the historic palace with four floors housing the Aqua Palace Hotel hides medieval charm …More
The Duodo palace was the perfect place to stay to visit all the main attractions in Venice. It is centrally placed between San Marco and Rialto Bridge and was reasonably easy to locate after arriving by water bus from the airport. The hotel is in a quiet little square just off the main thoroughfare. The reception staff were very helpful and able to give us lots of information on places to visit. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was continental and self service with the option of having a cooked breakfast at extra cost. We found the continental to be quite sufficient and it was regularly freshly restocked.
All in all we had a wonderful time both at the hotel and in Venice City and would certainly recommend this as an excellent holiday destination!

Ideal residence for a splendid vacation in the heart of one of the most romantic cities 4 star Duodo Palace Hotel is a luxury …More
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid September. The rooms were clean and of a reasonable size and as it is in a quiet location there was no noise at night. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. We were within walking distance of several vaporetta stops which made travel around the city and out to the islands easy. Would definitely stay there again
Very comfortable rooms. Everything you would expect in a nice hotel. Great location, far enough away from the busy crowds but near enough to walk to all the attractions. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious. Highly recommended.
This hotel was absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful way to start our first vacation in Venice. We had a large bedroom and two sitting rooms. The bathroom was enormous and there was a walk-in closet with a safe. Fluffy robes and slippers were provided. There was also a selection of pillows should you need something different. The room also contained an espresso machine. Open the windows and you can look down on the canal. This was absolutely five star. Breakfast was also included.
This hotel is just perfect, specially for the single traveler. Travel for the single person in Italy is almost prohibitive with extra costs added, but not so here. A great room with shower and a Murino chandelier. On the 'wrong' side of the canal away from the tourists, the hotel sits right on the water with a deck to enjoy a coffee and watch the life of Venice going past. A great breakfast in the second floor dining room with, if you take your turn to sit out there, a balcony to have an extra coffee. Explore the alleyways behind the hotel to discover the real Venice and enjoy an evening meal with the locals. Friends staying near Saint Mark's Square paid four times as much and didn't have half as much fun as I did.
Very easy to walk to from San Stae even with heavy suitcases but the - very expensive - water taxis drop you off at the landing stage of the hotel which is a great way to 'make an entrance!
We couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel with this one! It's position, plush interior, quality of food, service, everything! We couldn't imagine staying anywhere better in Venice..most certainly not in this price range and we are hard to please!
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. It's location is awesome as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the Grand Canal but all the main sites to visit are easily accessible on foot - we loved it.
