"Staying in Trastevere, Rome"
I and my husband stayed in this Hotel for 7 nights. It a converted monastery and has a certain charm about it. It's modest in it's appearance and facilities but was in an excellent location. I loved the way they provided clean towels in the evening after a much needed shower after very hot walks out in the morning. The roof terrace has great views of the city.

"Lovely hotel"
Great staff and very nice hotel. Modern with good sized rooms. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Not too far into Rome, we used local transport. Took a cab to termini when we left and it was only €19. Well worth a stay.

"Nice space, missing a few amenities"
Upon arrival the front desk staff (wish I knew the woman's name-but she only works in the morning) was going to allow another guest to check in before me, so that irritated me. The guest had to point out that i was standing the. The room was spacious, had a balcony, and large tub/shower. I had no idea that you had to use European outlets to charge your phone (FYI first time Americans). The other front desk staff was very helpful and told me where I could purchase one. They also do not have irons (another surprise). You also have to check your key every time you leave the hotel. This didn't bother me but took some getting used to. The breakfast was pretty good with a really decent selection (pastries, cheese, Turkey deli meat, eggs, bacon, and cappuccino ). The hotel is pretty close to the bus or tram. Overall, it was a good hotel with a couple of glitches.

Pocket Guide: Rome Trastevere 4 stars Hotels

Across the River Tiber, Trastevere is a well-established 'boho chic' quarter, full of local character. The patchwork of tiny, cobbled streets houses many bars, good restaurants and buzzing nightlife spots. There is also a treasure trove of medieval churches. In its own piazza, the beautiful Santa Maria in Trastevere has shimmering golden mosaics and was probably Rome's first Christian basilica, founded in 222 AD.
