Excellent staff, who greeted us after a long days travel. The room was above expectations. The outlook over the beach was very nice& the nearby restaurents were fine. The hotel is well located near the train station.
After reading some pretty negative reviews, we were a bit nervous about our 3 night stay at Atlas les Almohades. However, we couldn't have made a better choice. We loved the swimming pool and the beach room. The breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of options. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Our safe wasn't working when we arrived, but it was repaired within 24 hours. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would recommend this hotel to friends.

"Dar Nilam is actually just an expensive and out of the way B&B"
Dar Nilam just wasn’t a convenient place for us. Our intention was to tour Tangiers and use the hotel as a base to come and go from. We were disappointed to find it so off the beaten path. As most reviews state, we had to take a taxi to and from any activity we planned. Also, when you factor in that food and drinks aren’t readily available at the hotel it makes just getting a snack a 12 euro taxi ride.
We attempted to walk to dinner on our second night. Our hike consisted of a walk past endless construction debris, several overflowing bins of stinking garbage, countless leering eyes of the area residents, and a wade through the dusty fields and camel dung.
Bottom line, if you plan to lock yourself in your room or lay at the pool, this place isn’t bad. However, if you plan on touring, shopping, eating, and socializing, go to a real hotel. Lastly, for the cost, we could have done much better. Given all the lack of convenience, this place is vastly overpriced.

Needed somewhere to stay in the area. Finding the hotel is kind of a pain because we hadn't been there before, and the taxis are scam artists like everywhere in Morocco. Still, once we got to the hotel, they welcomed us and showed us to our room. They gave us info about the town and gave us a good walking route on a map for efficient sight seeing since our time was limited. Bed was nice, sink/shower had hot water.
