I wanted somewhere nice and quiet with a view. That is exactly what I got. First night someone woke me up, but as soon as I told the staff at the reception they have sorted it out and there were no noise afterwards. Staff at SPA are extremley welcoming and lovely. The girls are fantastic, especially Tatjana and Victoria. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I was glad I did not go all inclusive as managed to go out in the evening to eat at different place every time. Its only a short walk to the centar and the view was amazing. I would like to return again, already been recommending this place to all my family and friends.

We arrived in the evening to a busy reception area where people were sitting and talking and interacting with staff. We were made welcome, although we could only get into our room the next morning, which we weren't too happy about at all. However, the next morning we moved into our room and all was well. We had a lovely room, which was kept very clean with a change of towels every day. There was plenty of storage for our clothes. The hotel had a gym and swimming pools, all very good indeed. The breakfasts were superb with a range of British and Continental foods, and plenty of coffee and tea on tap. All cooked well and the staff in the dining room were very friendly, efficient and worked together as a team. A walk from St Paul's Bay to Bugibba Bay was delightful together with all the welcoming places to visit. The car drivers were so polite as were the people and trying some Maltese dishes made our holiday more interesting.
Hotel: The staff could not be anymore helpful. From giving alternative room options to advising the best local restaurants. The rooms are clean and more than adequate. (We stayed in rm 214 - family room - which had 1 x double rm, 1 x twin rm, 2 x lounge areas, 2 x bathrooms and a nice kitchen/dining area). There is free wi-fi available and also has a hairdryer (which is not specified in the facilities). There is a lovely little bar and seating area. Didn't sample the breakfast so cannot comment. You can tell that they are carrying out decor updates but we were happy to overlook this as it didn't impact the facilities. The view from the rooftop pool is stunning, especially when the sunsets.
Location: The hotel is in a brilliant location. The bus depot is literally round the corner and it only costs 1.5 euros for a full day ticket to anywhere on the Island. After visiting the Island we found that the Qawra was certainly the best place for a wider range of restaurants and bars and some are very British if you want the option of feeling home from home.
Other tips to fellow travelers: Toiletries are very expensive so try to bring as much as your own to cut costs. If you are on a budget, try to avoid going into the first restaurant you see. Have a bit of a look around as the costs can range drastically. We had one lovely meal on a budget and then went to another place that didn't show prices are were charged 50 euros for a shared fish platter. Bit of a shock!!!
me and my girlfrien went to malta and we stayed in qawra palace for six days. the hotel is amazing i would go back there if I go back to malta again. hotel staff memebers are very polite and helpful, break fast was amazing and I loved it, the hotel looks a bit old but trust me its very spot on on hygienic condition, all hotel floors look stunning and the whole entire hotel looked nice and clean. its location in very good place as its located in right in the middle of malta. the sea view from the hotel is amazing, its close to every famous and good places to visit. you will enjoy this hotel with tranquility.
Staff - Fantastic and helpful and smiley...Rooms clean and fine - Great views from roof terrace .....go up to take a picture!! 4 mins walk to Seafront MAX.... and very quiet nice hotel in all !! - Deffo stay there again ....

This hotel was suprisingly really nice. It was clean, had everything we needed and a nice pool. The staff were helpful and the hotel was just around the corner from the bay, a short walk from bugibba square and the bus station. After the negative reviews, my friend and I really didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly suprised by the comfort and convenience of this hotel. We didn't eat in the restaurant or stay for the entertainment but the BBQ they had by the pool looked lovely. As some other people have said, the air con in the living room (not the one in the bedroom), was loud but that didn't really bother us.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing stay in Malta in a comfortable hotel.
We just got back a week ago and had a fantastic holiday, the location is great for eating out, nice walks and the bus station is 10 mins from hotel, the bus service is brill for getting out and about. We were BB and the breakfast buffet was lovely, the hotel staff from reception, to the cleaners and the shop staff were lovely and very helpful. The entertainment staff made everyone feel welcome at there shows, my 6 year old loved the mini disco they done every nite...
Overall no complains and will definitely be booking for next year again ;))
