We spent four wonderful nights in Positano at Art Hotel Pasitea and we couldn't have asked for more. A brilliant location, far enough away from the main shopping and restaurant precinct to have some peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to the action. The hotel was nicely apportioned, staff friendly and helpful and put up with our terrible attempts at speaking Italian.
The rooms and especially shower we a little small to navigate in, but if you've been to Positano, you'll understand that space is at a premium, so these things were quite forgivable.
All in all a great stay.
Stayed just for two nights but will stay longer next time. Had room on 3rd floor in attic but was a lovely room with balcony. Staff we're extremely helpful and friendly. They have their own restaurant and food was lovely. Amazing eating breakfast, lunch or dinner outside hotel with views over Positano. Bit of a walk from beach but the walk down is worth it for taking photos and you can catch local bus back up if don't want to walk, stop right outside hotel.
Lovely staff, great location, great facilities, excellent food.
My room was spacious, had a sea view and had an original design, with grotto-like rocks sticking out of the walls. Only criticism: the walls in the bathroom were damp & needed re-doing
This family run hotel gives you the beauty of positano at a fair rate without skimping on the luxury of the experience. It is a beautiful hotel with an amazing roof top restaurant and pool. I can't rave more about the staff who were kind friendly and accommodating. We even met one of the owners who made our honeymoon even more special by treating us to good company and dinner. He sets the tone for the rest of the staff. Overall an outstanding experience. I highly recommend the hotel especially if you want a personal human touch.
We were extremely pleased with everything about this hotel. The managers (Giuseppina and Francesca?) were warm, gracious and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was nicely decorated, clean and surprisingly large. The breakfast, on the veranda includes great view of Positano, and was delightful. Definitely recommended.
"Perfect location. Close to all attractions - beach"
Spent 6 days there. First day used limo car with driver (Euro40-00/hr x 7 hrs) to visit Pompei, Ravello and Amalfi coast. Second day hired a 18ft power boat from beach kiosk to tour Capri and Amalfi coast by sea (Euro280-00 for whole day - all costs). Third day shopped around Positano - recommend Idillio for men and ladies summer clothes. Fourth day lay around on beautiful beach - crystal clear water. Fifth day - same as fourth day. Sixth day - beach in morning and long walk in afternoon - fantastic. All amenities brilliant - if any nit pick, Wi-Fi could be better but was sufficient to keep in touch with business in Australia.

We stayed at the Eden Roc one week before they closed for the season but you would never have known it. The service was simply AMAZING. All of the staff from the front desk to housekeeping was delighted to serve you. The breakfast server, Tony, was great. Every day he made you feel like you were at home and remembered your beverage preferences for each day. My wife and I were staying for our anniversary and Tony already knew who we were and our occasion on our first morning. He even provided us a special tart each morning to help us celebrate. Grazie Tony! Our stay at the Eden Roc was sent over the top by our OUTSTANDING evening server Carlo. Carlo delivered our room service the first night and set up a lovely candle light dinner on our patio for us. The next day we were surprised to find that Carlo was our server in the restaurant as well. We did not stop talking about Carlo for our entire trip. His service was impeccable but what really set him apart was his intentional effort to get to know us and help to ensure that our vacation was perfect. We asked him questions about the local busses and sights and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. We never had the opportunity to meet the chef but the food at every meal was unparalleled. It became the bar by which we measured all our other meals in Rome, Florence, and Venice and we never found its equal! It is because of this memorable service and the beauty of the property that we will make every effort to return!
