"Excellent hotel"
Very comfortable, gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday! Close to beach and bus stops, but you hardly need to go anywhere as the facilities are so good!

"Great experience"
Great place to stay , in a good location. I arrived to a very warm welcome. The hotel staff were lovely , the whole time of my stay. Food was really nice . Every night big buffet , which changed every day. The breakfast was substantial. Fresh omelette or pancakes made on request. As well as full English breakfast, cold selection of antipasto, fruit, yogurts, cereals toast and pastries. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. Room service daily. Very safe clean hotel, also very modern. Pools side every night with 2 musians playing for a few hrs. Real nice touch. Literally right on the beach and a walk out the hotel to main strip. I was a solo traveller. Enjoyed my stay. I would stay again some day, but bring someone. As I find the hotel would be better for couples, families with older children. There weren't many ppl solo. Most ppl 45 . Which is fine , but not as social as I'd like. Highly recommend. Thanks Sol beach house cala blanca.

"Ideally located on the beach. Quiet well mannered"
Great hotel with elderly clients who are certainly not looking for the next rave. Quiet hotel in a brilliant location with well trained staff. Will definitely return. Sea view room was awesome, fridge provided, great breakfast. Two negatives wifi was as slow as most of the guests and you had to pay for the safe. If you don't mind mixing it with the silver surfers then it's perfect.

"Nice clean hotel with excellent facilities."
The Viva is an impressive hotel, the pool, gardens, facilities are excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean.the bedroom and bathroom were excellent but we were disappointed at the lounge area, the upholstery had seen better days, and the cupboard doors were not fitted properly. The hotel is in an excellent position in Palma Nova and I would recommend it.

"Disappointing all round. Except location."
On our holiday we had 2 rooms for 2 couples. We arrived late at night and was given our rooms which both on the top floor and with a sea view, what we paid extra for when booking. We noticed that the rooms were not that pleasant to the eye with hard beds and and funny sewage smells in the bathrooms. Once we had woken in the morning I noticed the air conditioning wasn't working and asked the reception to correct this which they did. The showers in the rooms are not very powerful and either scold you or is freezing cold. Even though being in the top floor the bathroom had an infestation of ants and silverfish. The swimming pool isn't very clean and has insects in it, with one if us stung by a wasp floating in the water. The breakfast has plenty of variety if you are German or French which seem to populate the hotel. Very few English options. We asked for the wifi codes which was available but the wifi is only available by the bar or in the lobby bar the pool, which is only indoors and not very good fir connection. The view from the rooms were very nice and overlooked the beach. It's in a great location with many bars and restaurants that provide some good food. The beach is very nice and clean and very close. Would I stay here again? No. Was it value for money? No. Was it a comfortable stay? No. Is it a 4⭐ hotel? Definitely not. Maybe 3⭐.

"Would definately go back"
Room was very comfortable and very clean. Don't leave breakfast to the last minute everyone seems to go down about 9.30 and food starts running out. Only downside was there seemed to be a few rooms on our floor used by a family group and when they got up in the morning everyone else was wakened up by knocking on doors and shouting along the corridors. Very much a hotel for all ages.

"Very pleasant"
We stayed only for the weekend. Hotel's staff very helpful, speak basic English. January is completely quiet month but they organised so many entertainments in the evenings that we couldnt complain. Food was delicious and not repetory, every night diffrent spanish delicacies. My only complaint was the heating system. Although it was 15C degree outside, the marble flooring and bathroom were extremely cold (no radiators in the bathroom, bedroom). We put the heating all day long so in the evening would be warm...it wasnt. We did asked for help and a handyman came to check up the settings almost immediately which were fine but still not quite warm results for us. I quess 15C is considered warm for majority of Spanish people. Overall customer service was great and it is a lovely hotel to stay during the warmer months.

One of the first purpose-built tourist destinations on the island, Palma Nova lies just North of Magaluf and features three sandy beaches: Playa de Son Maties, Playa de Palma Nova, and Playa des Carregador. Here you can laze on the beach under the Spanish sun or take a glass-bottom boat or catamaran cruise. If you get hungry you will find plenty of restaurants and bars along the vast promenade.
