When we first arrived in Marrakech we had some trepidation when we walked the alleyways towards the hotel but when we reached there what we saw was beyond our imagination , from the architectural splendour to the courteous staff who could not have done anymore to make our stay more pleasurable . From the staff singing happy birthday to my wife to decorating our room in flowers for her birthday. The hotel was the best place in Marrakech and I highly recommend it .

At the south end of the Kasbah, Riad Alma is a little further from the centre of Marrakesh than many other Riads, but we enjoyed the bustle and friendliness of Rue de la Kasbah when we went in to, and came back out of town; it made us feel a little more immersed in this wonderful, exotic location. The Riad itself was a clean, friendly place of calm after the madness of the souks and Djeema el Fna. It has a great staff and a lovely feel to it, a little like being in a Graham Greene novel almost. Thoroughly recommend it. The only thing that might catch you out is the walk from the Rue de la K to the Riad itself, we arrived by taxi quite late and felt a little uncomfortable wnadering through the dimly lit back streets for a couple of hundred metres to find the Riad. Once we'd been there a day or two we realised how friendly the locals are, and didn't feel vulnerable after that; but on the first night when it was all a bit strange and new, it was a little unsettling.

Booked B&B by accident instead of all inclusive called ahead to check we could upgrade but when we got there it was going to cost us more than what we had already paid. Over that rooms were lovely, stay clear of the hot plate food, chicken was just sealed from raw often. Facilities spot on
Great Moroccan style riad. We had an upgrade with our room and was amazing, just loved it!. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We didn't have the chance to use the spa facilities but all looks lovely. Good breakfast that sometimes we have to share with some bees!, friendly bees anyway ;), but been open air there is not much staff can do. I'll come back in my next visit to Marrakech.
We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Riad Carllian, as we set foot within the Riad we received a warm welcome from the owner accompanied with traditional mint tea and Morrocan sweets. The owner and staff could not be more helpful, providing advice about the Riad and also activities and sites that we may be interested in while in Marrakesh.
The Riad felt like a home from home, the room that we stayed in had a lovely contemporary decor and was cleaned to a good standard daily.

Second stay at the Atlas Asni and was great to be back. The staff and ambience are excellent and good value for money. It is one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in. L'Hivernage is off the main drag, however still within walking distance of the famous square, mosque and soks. Reception staff will arrange trips to local areas for you and are very helpful and friendly. Will go back again and again.
"Cool little B&B style hotel with friendly staff."
The hotel is a located quite well in a busy plaza. I would definitely recommend getting the transfer as it's a bit hard to find on your own on arrival. the staff are super friendly - they came and picked us up from a cafe when we were lost!
The room is really clean and good facilities. The cooked breakfast in the morning was a lovely surprise. Would go back again for my next visit.
Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean rooms, the spa is amazing, walking distance to most places in the centre of marakesh. Many food places within the same block of the hotel, the hotel has an amazing Moroccan restaurant, its a must to try it, the breakfast is great, fantastic place to stay during the winter period.
Close by to some funky clubs, cool shisha places are within 2 mins walk, Jama Al Fna is a 10 minutes walk.
Best thing to do is book the hotel car to drop you and pick you up from the airport, obviously slightly more expensive than your usual on the street taxi, who rip you off!! but at least you know what you are paying for!
