Great friendly staff, comfortable room, free wifi, located right near the train station. Nothing bad to say except perhaps don't get room service or make a call from the hotel phone coz there's a hefty charge.

OK, rooms were clean, well maintained, up to date. Service staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was great. But WOW, was the breakfast extraordinary! More like a brunch than breakfast. Aside from the usual eggs/bacon/sausage, they also have many Finnish items which were really cool to eat. Fish & salad for breakfast anyone? :) Great selection of breads, a cereal/fruit/yogurt bar, wonderful berry "soups" (like syrup, but not as sweet). Anyway, could not ask for a better stay in Helsinki ...
This was my second stay at this hotel. I chose it because of its vicinity in the heart of the CBD, basically across the road from the Central Railway. The rooms are well appointed and quiet even though it is in the heart of the CBD. Trams are across the road and it is within walking distance of shops and most museums and sights. Great breakfasts.
We were visiting Helsinki to see our daughter, who is an international exchange student in the city.
Hotel staff were pleasant and efficient. Check-in was seamless, especially after a long days travelling. The room was perfectly fine, a surprise from some who reckoned they were on the small size! Breakfast was excellent with a really wide choice. Really set us up for a full days sightseeing and Christmas shopping!
We had a late flight and the hotel were quite happy for us to store our bags until we had to get out to the airport (Bus 615)
We would certainly stay here again if we travel to Helsinki some time in the future
