We stayed for the second time at the Mercure for a wedding and the location has helped us to decide to always stay here. So close to the Hunter Valley Gardens, wineries, restaurants, Harrigan's pub. Perfect location.

Very enjoyable three day stay in very pleasant surrounds. Staff were very helpful. Room very comfortable and of a good size for a couple. Views from our room and the hotel in general very picturesque. Hotel was well located and close to all activities that we had planned for our stay, in particular the HV Gardens and major wineries.

H Boutique was centrally located. The rooms were very private and well set out. It was a really relaxing and private place to stay in. Staff were very accomodating and friendly. For a Hotel that has just opened and still getting organised it was very hard to fault. They are building a restaurant which we can't wait to try on our next visit. This Hotel will suit all types of travellers, even the children would like the fact that Kangaroo's are around in the mornings.
The hotel grounds were spectacularly beautiful - I recommend including breakfast as the breakfast area looks over the lake and golf course. The rooms were amazingly sized and priced. Very happy with our stay.
The Hermitage Lodge proved to be all I expected. We had a suite, for some reason called the Hanging Tree. This was a pleasing suite with separate bedroom, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was provided in the room. It was continental style and quite adequate. A hot breakfast was available at extra cost. The only criticism I had of the accommodation was the lack of shampoo. Other toiletries were quite adequate. There was a lack of suitable lighting for reading both in the bedroom and in the living area. This is a common complaint we have with most hotel accommodation. The suite was spacious and well maintained. A deck outside the living area was a great place for a quiet drink at the day's end or for breakfast in the morning. This deck overlooked the pond and vineyard. The staff were pleasant and helpful both at reception and in the dining room
