Great location right downtown - near stadium, city park, major mall all within easy walking distance. Friendly staff with excellent service. Great free breakfast buffet. Wide variety of excellent food in hotel restaurants.
Staff in the Hotel were wonderful, helpful and very neat presentation and great disposition
Hotel near the shopping center and attractions is a very good feature.
Also most staff are bilingual which is also very helpful.
I arrived early due to my airline and the staff was not only super helpful and welcoming but allowed me to check-in early due to availability. It has a nice breakfast buffet (which could be deadly if you're on a diet.) The staff is friendly and wonderful. They have both pools and lake access so you ant go wrong. Even off a dock you can see the JK bridge. And the room is something much like Top Gun in the sense that it will take your breathe away.
This hotel is located some distance from the city and a car is essential to move about. That being said, it is a beautiful hotel, great location on the lake. The staff are English speaking and very helpful. The food is not great but ok for a hotel; in any event you will want to eat at any of the great restaurants available in Brasilia. Overall, the Royal Tulip is an excellant choice for either a business or tourist visit to Brasilia.

I visited Brasilia many times and I can tell you with a high degree of accuracy that Clarion is the best hotel I ever stayed. May be because is new, may be because the others are quite old. Is not so central but the quality is simply great.

Hotel close to Shopping Mall, area was not safe by night. The hotel staff usually do not give rooms before 1:00 or 2:00 PM. Some of us wait 8 hours for the room.
One unpleasant surprise was the charges for using the internet. There is no free internet in the rooms or in the public areas of the hotel.
Using the TV was very difficult and odd. There was no information about the need of two different controllers and the free channels were very limited and no CNN or international new.
