This hotel, its staff, and facilities are a credit to the L!ndner brand. It is because of this hotel that if there is a Lindner hotel near where I am traveling, I will go out of my way to stay with them. Fortunately, their English is better than my German. The restaurant was top notch and the food was delicious with excellent service. When I had car troubles, the staff went out of their way to ensure that I was safely back on the road. I simply cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are what will bring guests back to a hotel and I can say without a doubt, I will be back when I return to the area.
Room was lovely had upgraded room to over look race track was worth it as there was a race on had a big electric window that opened right out so you could see all round track brilliant hotel would recommend to anyone.
We used the Novotel Aachen as a base for a family trip to the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful - the free ice cream and welcome pack for the children was a nice touch. The family room was a decent size and spotlessly clean. The old town centre with plenty of restaurants is only a short walk away and there is secure pre pay parking under the hotel. The buffet breakfast gave a huge choice and was opened up from 6am on race day so we were well fuelled. A couple of tips: if you are going to the Grand Prix in a hire care DO get a good satnav - gave us a great cross country route back to the hotel when there was a hold up on the motorway, and DON'T miss out on exploring Aachen - the Cathedral, the Town Hall and the Market Square all worth exploring. We would definitely use the hotel again.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel for the price I paid. The room was quite large and similar to what we would expect in an American hotel. The staff was OUTSTANDING and the room was spotless. Linda at the front desk could not have been anymore accommodating. I wish all of my employees were as great as her.m
We stayed in this Hotel for three nights, check in is from 14:00 hours and not as stated on printout at 6am!We were told this rather abruptly,as we arrived at 11:45 and our room wasn't available. At the correct time we were given the keys to our apartment:) and the check in was quickly forgotten and forgiven. The room was very spacious, separate living room and kitchenette made the room seem very airy x the added bonus was a very large balcony,I sat outside and listened to the birds waking up x the showeroom was also very large and clean, the shower definitely had the power to wake you up x We can highly recommend the food ,we had breakfast every morning, everything was fresh and tasty x we only dined in the hotel once, but this we regret as this was also very much to our liking x the swimming pool, sauna and quiet room I loved, but sadly couldn't use on our last day as a family decided to use it as a playground for their children, so when we do come and stay again, as we shall, it will not be during half term

A delightful hotel right by the lake which takes the best part of an hour to saunter around and is very peaceful and pretty. We enjoyed our meals in the downstairs restaurant or on the terrace - great weiner schnitzel and ver good beer. A small peaceful place - no shops and not much traffic. We used the pool which is very good.
We enjoyed a happy few days in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Our room was large and comfortable situated in the Studio block, top floor. A lift would have been useful for the luggage. . As it was half term the dining room was lively with sporty families and many todlers. The dining room staff were efficient, friendly and spoke English, the food was splendid.
Walking round the Maars kicking the fallen leaves in the Autumn sunshine was splendid. The swimming pool and the spa proved very popular, plenty of towels, available, robes and flip flops provided in the bedroom.
We were surprised to hear that not many English visit the hotel, perhaps this review will encourage more folk to explore the area.
