This was a nice hotel, kind of old pool and hot tub. Gym was good. Staff was nice. Short walk to centre, up hill on the way back. Not that bad though. Our only problem was that I booked a double and when we got there they gave us a twin. When we complained the only double they had was on the smoking floor. We were forced to stay in that one or keep the twin. I didnºt appreciate that but the room didnºt smell bad.

Excellent and poite staff who were very helpful indeed.
Beautiful location in the hills with pleasant surroudings,and very relaxing and peaceful.
It is an unusual setting as it is an old medieval convent/monastry converted into a hotel,but that adds to it's exclusiveness and attraction.
The hotel room balconies are very large with pleasant views.
Also an excellent restaurant next door that specialises in traditional Portugese dishes.
Overall a splendid stay and good value....

This is the biggest and probably the best Hotel in town , great food in the restaurant , great selection in the buffet breakfast ( with few variation during my 1 week stay) , staff is really good and friendly, some room are brand new very modern , some are older ( but do have a balcony the old one which was nice) .
It is also few steps from the plaza and the beach ( not in the beach ) .Overall I like it and I would stay again .
