Hotel was really good close to where we needed to be
Maid could have replenished the coffee and milk after first night
So had black coffee on sun morn
But all very good none the less
Will be back as need to be in Wrexham quite often in near future
Fab hotel. Lovely quiet location but walking distance to village (Rossett) with pubs and restaurant. Short drive to Park and Ride so ideal for shopping in Chester. Our room was an executive room and although a little small it had a separate seating area and wardrobe on the door level and up a spiral staircase to bedroom and large bathroom. Lovely views of gardens and countryside.
Staff very helpful. Reported light bulb not working and it had been replaced by the time we got back from a stroll.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

The Hawk and Buckle Inn is in a lovely quiet area ( use your sat nav) but well worth the trip. The welcome is friendly and comfortable , with views over the surrounding countryside. This is a pub and as such does have the normal village pub life, but we liked that aspect as we live in a village. Even when the bar was full we could hear little from our room. The pub served among the normal alternatives Welsh real ale , much to my husband's joy. The area is relaxing, the welcome friendly, with all the wonderful area to visit with all of North Wales on your door step what more could you ask.

Travelling on business I rarely stay at b&b establishments. As I was working in holywell the following day I thought I'd give the place a try. Found the place a little difficult to spot (its very near the chapel) but parking was ample and safe. Very warm greeting and Les and Pauline were gracious hosts - to the extent they directed me to the nearest pub for dinner and I decided to walk to stretch my legs after a long drive. Then Pauline drove down to pick me up as they then realised the pub wasn't serving food at that time. In this day and age people will rarely put themselves out like this. Room was super comfy and homely. The bathroom was not en suite but along the corridor but the shower was great and there were ducks in the cast iron bath - if you're into that sort of thing. Breakfast was served quickly and fresh cooked with home made bread and jam. All in all a lovely experience and would not hesitate to recommend.
