"Lovely hotel - would recommend!"
Beautiful hotel, stayed in an annexe room that had obviously been refurbished recently (gorgeous). The owners are very welcoming and they even cooked us breakfast later than the time they normally stop serving as we were going to the Cropredy festival and weren't leaving till later. Highly recommended :-)

"Birthday weekend Away"
Hotel room was extremely hot even with fan and window open. Bar staff (the girls) were extremely helpful on all occasions. I think the manager needs to be more hands on. When we left we had to leave our room cards on bar as no one around to even ask us if we had enjoyed our stay and our bill not ready when ask at breakfast and they had to ask us what we had. Breakfast was a little cold and only offered one cup of coffee. There are more positives than negatives but for the price charged would expect more attention to detail.

Pocket Guide: Oxfordshire Banbury 4 stars Hotels

Banbury is a bustling market town in North Oxfordshire. It is known largely for its famed Banbury Cakes, and for the old English nursery rhyme, Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross. There remains a cross in the town centre along with a statue of the lady on her horse. Nearby Cropredy, 4 miles along the Oxford Canal, hosts one of Britain's biggest folk festivals every August.
