"Very comfortable, good location, great breakfast"
We stayed at this hotel on a very warm weekend with our two children (8 and 5). Our room had two double beds that were very comfortable! One of the most comfortable beds I've had in Europe. The room was spacious and clean and bright and cool. It had a very good feeling and we didn't mind spending some time in it. The location of the hotel is good. It is near the Gare Lyon Part Deux, but not very walkable (doable, but not pleasant). There is, however, a tram stop on the block that will take you right there. It is a full 15 minute walk to the heart of the culinary scene, but after a full menu we were happy to walk back. We purchased this room with the breakfast buffet and I'm so glad we did. The buffet is in the Garage, the hotel restaurant, and is worth every penny. It opens early and runs late and is delicious. Anyone traveling with kids knows how hard getting going can be if the kids haven't eaten. The breakfast was convenient, pleased all of us, and started our days right.
The staff was knowledgable about the area and had great recommendations for dining and entertainment ! The rooms were up to date clean and comfortable . The only issue at all would be to add wifi access to be available in the rooms and not just the lobby area .
A great experience overall !

Spa hotel with architectural influences from the 1930s, situated two kilometres from Lyon's historic city centre. …More
The hotel was very nice. The breakfast was good, service was very nice and helpful, and the room was huge by European standards for a two-star hotel. The only drawback was the slipperiness of the tub, which had a hand-held Water Pik attached to the tap to turn it into a "shower". It is probably wise as a general rule to bring shower shoes on a trip to Europe anyway just in case.
Handy to main rail station for tram from airport and TGV to other parts.
Cheerful breakfast room and reasonable selection.
Good value, clean, modest facility.
Would have preferred an electric jug instead of the coffee maker.
The front desk staff, especially Laure were so helpful, even recommending a local place for a haircut. Great location for those who walk. We walked to / from the train station Part Dieu. The grocery store is right around the corner and the kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation. We then walked to many attractions, highlighted on the local map provided by the front desk. This accommodation takes recycling seriously, providing appropriate receptacles. We did not partake of the breakfast offering, so no comment there. WiFi strong and reliable. Linens of nice quality, appliances worked as intended, including the dishwasher. No surprises / just as pictured and described. Would definitely recommend for those wanting to be close to the train station and wanting to experience the city by walking. The Museum of Fine Arts and the PARC provided much enjoyment.
The hotel is located in a great location about 10 minutes (by foot) from the Part-Dieu shopping complex and railway station. To the immediate west of the hotel lies the heart of the 3e arrondissement (about 10 minutes, walking), and even further west is Place Bellecour, the postcard centre of Lyon.
Hotel staff were friendly and understanding despite my non-fluency in French. We ate breakfast only once at the hotel, and by comparison to a western, north-american style breakfast, it was not filling.
There was also a small issue wherein the concierge mixed up our check-out date, but this was resolved without any problems.
