"Even better than expected!"
After reading other reviews, I knew this was a rental, not a hotel, but it's important to bear that in mind. In addition, I'll echo that there are multiple units, and each is unique. Those points acknowledged, I can say with enthusiasm that our apartment exceeded our expectations.
The neighborhood was terrific, with an open market across the street, a wonderful bakery around the corner, easy access to the Metro, and some museums within walking distance (note: you can purchase Paris Museum passes when you sign your initial paperwork). Plenty of good restaurants, shops, and cafes close by, as well.
The apartment, while small, had plenty of space for my husband and I, plus his young adult daughter to stay in comfort for a week. The washing machine was a bonus, since we'd already been traveling for 10 days before arrival (although there is no dryer, so we hung our clothes to dry). It is a three flight walk up, with two coded doors at the front of the building. We appreciated the quiet of the apartment, especially in a lively neighborhood, and the security of the building.
Do be sure to leave the apartment as you found it; we emptied the kitchenette of all food, for example, even non-perishable basics like salt and sugar. You must leave a security deposit which can be charged for leaving the apartment in poor condition.
The price was very reasonable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
