Great hotel at a great value in Rome. If you call before your stay they'll arrange a town car for the price of a taxi for your stay.

"Memorable as a great stay I'd return to."
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Staff were absolutely professional and helpful. Room was comfortable, location was excellent to walk to both Rome attractions and shopping district. Associated restaurant was very good. I'd go back for sure.

"Ok hotel "
The hotel is difficult to find, the rooms are ok, although small, but clean. Depending where the room is, it can be very noisy, even at early hours (as early as 5AM, garbage gets picked up and the noise they make is incredibly loud). Breakfast is ok, but the room is very small, you need to rush out as other guests need to have their breakfast, don't dare to chat with your fellow tourists, as the hotel staff shouts at you requesting to move out of the room. Other than that, and if you spend most of your time away from the hotel, it is good to spend the night. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but a very long walk to the major attractions in Rome.

"Good central location"
Everything was better than we expected, had just booked as a base so wasn't expecting luxury but was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.

"Lovely"
Lovely hotel, I was very happy with my stay. They sent an email before arrival to query my needs and special requirements. Upon arrival the gentleman at the reception handed over a map and gave a detailed description about the city, transport, tickets. The room was small but I've never been to Rome in a hotel before so might be the same everywhere. Plus I was on my own and still got a room with double bed. It was a bit old school, but very clean. There was hot water anytime during the day, with good pressure. The breakfast is between 7-9:30, with lots of choices. They made the coffee fresh for you! One day I went down at 9, and there was no bread left, only toasted crackers, that was a bit disappointing. Very close to termini (taxi 6 Euros including tip, but you can walk too). From the hotel you can walk to the city, but there are buses as well very close. Restaurants are in the neighbourhood at ViaFlavia.

"Small hotel, convenient location in Rome"
Hotel is on busy street with bus stop nearby and 10 min walk to Metro. Accessibility would be a concern for some. It is 4 floors up. There is a small elevator but you must still walk up 15 to 20 steps to get to it. Our double standard room with balcony was very small and access to bathroom was partially blocked by the bed. Only storage for clothes was a small wardrobe with one broken door. Balcony was nice. Staff pleasant and helpful.

"Pleasant hotel in excellent position"
Really enjoyed our short break in Rome. Greeted at hotel by friendly staff on arrival and throughout our visit. Very handy having 24 hour reception as we were able to stay out late and enjoy the nightlife. Breakfast was 'buffet style' continental and exactly as expected. We didn't eat in the restaurant but enjoyed a drink before heading out in the evening. For a budget hotel it is certainly worth the money. Would return again!!

"Convenient near a metro station"
The hotel is in a great location by the Barberini Metro stop which gave us easy access to all attractions quickly. The staff was great and very kind. There were ants on the floor in my room both days, but it wasn't a huge deal. The rest of the room was very clean.

Pocket Guide: Rome Via Veneto 3 stars Hotels

Made famous by 'La Dolce Vita' film in 1960, the Via Veneto is going through a glamorous renaissance. Bars, restaurants, chic hotels and boutiques all vie for attention in the street which coined the expression 'paparazzo' – the surname of the photojournalist in the film. Nearby, the Spanish Steps are the place for lovers' trysts, shopping, and honing the Italian art of 'dolce far niente' – idling and people-watching.
