"LE MOULIN - TAROUDANT - EXPEDIA REVIEW
A beautiful relaxing and well appointed oasis in Taroudant.
Good location and easy enough to find as it is built right along the outside massive walls of Taroudant…a must-see visit while in Morocco, if not just to marvel at the huge walls of the city.
We stayed in a pool side room here. The room (#5) had two beds put together to make up the one large bed, but we knew that at time of booking. Sheets, bedding, towels were all good. Clean bathroom The room had a good large shower with shampoo and shower gel, a good hair dryer and shower had good water pressure. The safe did not work and we asked to have it fixed but they didn’t while we were there. The pool was fabulous. We stayed half a day just relaxing by it and had mint tea. Long enough pool for laps and shaded sitting areas and umbrellas if needed. We did not drink here, but if you like they are licences to serve cocktails…at higher prices which keeps the clientele to be smaller and more upscale, which was nice. The dinner was VERY good with tajine of lamb and a couscous with chicken on the second dinner. We did both dinners here as it was so good. We really enjoy our long chat and coffee together with the French owner Jean-Baptiste and his wife were very kind as were all the staff. The breakfast was very good with fresh juice, fresh made crepes, jams, bread and an omelette or eggs if you wish. We recommend visiting the palm oasis of Tiout nearby to see the goats in trees."
