We have stayed here several times over the last few years, on our annual trips to Stockholm (we have many Swedish relatives and know Stockholm very well indeed). You will not get a better location for central Stockholm, and it is also very convenient for both the buses and train from Arlanda airport.
The hotel itself has been upgraded a lot over the last few years, and the downstairs reception area completely redone since last year - Very clean and functional, with a modern look. Staff are always very helpful and friendly, even preparing complimentary coffee for us when we met up with a friend in the lobby. The breakfast is excellent, with good selection of the usual hams, cheeses, fruits, cereals, breads, pastries, cakes, and biscuits, as well as hot food such as sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs. - All I will say is that at weekends the current dining room gets very busy around 9am with a shortage of tables, but they are in the process of rectifying this. The easiest solution is to get there earlier as we always do, but it is a minor point.
The single rooms are what I would expect from a city centre hotel in terms of size - perfectly adequate for one person with plenty enough space unless you are the most claustrophobic person. I've stayed in plenty smaller elsewhere around the world... Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with proper wet-room shower, and a nice powerful shower too. All in all I can't fault the rooms as a nice quiet comfortable place to stay.
A very clean, straightforward automated hotel where they send you the door codes before you check in. There are no hotel staff, but there are emergency numbers that you could call. It was about a 5 min walk away from Central Station, therefore quite convenient.
I had a very good stay at the hotel. The rooms very clean and the service was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast which is served till 10.00 am, was lovely, not very elaborate, has fantastic homemade jams to go with the toast. The offer of tea, coffee and fruit anytime of the day is a lovely touch to make guests feel welcome. The building itself is very charming and has a beautiful old church right behind it.
I was given an upgrade to a very recently renovated double room on the ground floor which connects through the dining room. The room was excellent except for the fact that I could hear the people in the next room talking, though to be fair, I could not make out what they were saying.

The location is close to some of the main attractions in Stockholm. We walked everywhere but the nearest Underground station was only 2 or 3 minutes walk away, buses and trams were close by and different boat tours and trips were only 5 minutes walk away.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. We were given a free upgrade to a larger room when we asked for a room not on ground level (there was work going on to replace the road surface outside the Hotel and we were given a room at the back of the Hotel, where it was lovely and quiet, no questions asked). The buffet breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety and we ate so much we only needed a snack by late afternoon! There is a large variety of restaurants from the corner of the street and all around the area.
There was free tea and coffee and cakes and biscuits in the bar all day.
3 of us stayed in a triple room where there was plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean. Coffee & tea making facilities in the room. We also had a fridge to keep our bottles of water which was very useful as the weather was so hot. Hotel located within walking distance of everything. Superb variety of breakfast food which was extremely fresh each morning. Staff so helpful and gave service with a smile. Would highly recommend this hotel.
