The Ginger Lily is a beautiful boutique hotel just across the road from St Lucia's best beach. Rooms are large and attractively decorated, with comfortable beds, small kitchenettes, free Wifi and huge bathrooms. All come with their own patio/balcony, complete with table and hammock. The pool is small but well-maintained and surrounded by nice seating areas and a small bar. Breakfast is simple but adequate and there is a wide variety of restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance. Staff are exceptionally kind and friendly and really made the stay pleasant. So much nicer than a large resort - it's quiet, welcoming and very personal.

The hotel is clean, close enough to beaches. There is a shuttle that goes to the beach everyday. There is also plenty of parking.
The staff is super helpful and they will assign you a person to help you navigate the difference activities you can do.
Overall, we were very pleased.

I was shock and upset at the $70.us I had to pay to get there .The hotel is only accessible by a free shuttle boat that runs very late into the night. The hotel is very romantic, great views ,nice apartments and most of all marvelous staff. It's very close to the beach but not much swimming can be done. There is not much to do in that part of town but jump in a cab, water taxi or get up early and get on the local bus to see the sites .The restaurant's in the area are a bit over priced for me so i just used my kitchen to prepare some meals another option is go to the over the water and buy breakfast or lunch where the locals go try the fish cakes they are really good.
We chose St. Lucia for our first Caribbean vacation- looking for a place with a great local culture, lots of natural beauty, and not a big party scene with crowds. I felt that some all-inclusive are so gentrified that a part of the experience is lost not venturing out beyond the resort walls. Villa Beach was AMAZING. Colin, the owner, personally sat with us for over a half hour- welcoming us, finding out what we'd like to do, suggessting the "best of" sights, and making everything easy easy. His driver - Claudius- and he was more than a driver- would bring us everywhere- go ahead and arrange for the restaurant to call him as we finished dinner, got us the best seats, knew everyone, took us on a personal tour of the island ( we were not crammed into a tour bus) It was PHENOMINAL.
Our room was on the second level- spacious with a balcony- a full kitchen- and a view of the ocean. I think I literally saw 10 other guest the entire time. It is very relaxing. If you are looking for a party scene- this is not for you. If you want to dig into a good book while sitting on your balcony overlooking the ocean...maybe getting a massage later on the gazebo---and just hear the ocean waves- then this is your place.

We had an amazing week stay at this resort. The hotel is set up so that is is convenient to bounce between pool and beach all day. The staff was so friendly and they aimed to please always. There is constant activities all day long and great night entertainment as well. When it rained the one day the staff quickly arranged games and indoor activities - we still had fun. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The entire resort was clean. We watched the staff scrub down the beach chairs and rake the beach every morning at 6:00 AM .Great resort for adults and kids!
