The furniture in the rooms look a bit tired and the rooms, though functional, would benefit from a bit more color. The bathroom is small, but adequate, however, don't plan using it with another person at the same time. The receptionist checking me in was just plain miserable, however, the rest of the reception staff were friendly during the rest of my stay. Breakfast was adequate and typical of a buffet restaurant in Asia but made more tolerable by big mugs of tea.

Absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything was top class and the location is awesome for exploring in all four directions. Everybody says that Singapore is expensive but if you keep it local and choose wisely (ie don't go for the typical tourist stuff like Clarke Quay) then food is cheap and there are bargains to be had.
We arrived earlier in the morning and left in the midnight, during which the hotel staff kindly helped to store our luggage so that we could went out and had fun. There is also a small swimming pool at floor 3 which is very clean and beautiful. The hotel is 50 meters away from the closest railway station and 10 minutes walk from Chinatown, where we enjoyed a lot of delicious Asian food.
We were very impressed with the overall appearance of the hotel and it's convenient location to two of Tokyo's subway systems. The breakfasts were excellent, and included a large variety of items. We were disappointed with the beds since they were very hard to sleep on. However, this is common in many Japanese hotels. Otherwise, the service was top notch.
