The hotel is close to the beach and situated in a nice and quiet area. The rooms are spatious and clean and there is a beautiful garden including tables and chairs to spend some time in front of the mediteranean vegetation. Rooms with sea view have also a balcony. Overall a very pleasant experience.
We booked this hotel for two adults based on previous good reviews, good rates and its location close to, but not too close, to monaco for the grand prix weekend. It didn't look like much from the outside but once inside we found the hotel to be clean and tidy throughout. like the rest of the hotel, the rooms were simple but clean, airy, comfortable and had a modern shower/toilet. the restaurant which is part of the hotel had well prepared and good food for a decent price, the breakfast choices were also good.
One thing i did notice from a previous reviewer and was a bit of a concern before going was that the staff couldn't speak English. Thankfully we didn't find this when we went, there was always at least one hotel employee and one restaurant employee that spoke English on every shift, making ordering food and asking for anything in the hotel pretty easy. Even with our strong Glaswegian accents they we were able to have good dialogue with hotel staff in English.
I would recommend this hotel if you were like us just looking for a nice clean hotel to stay in before going out to do other things.
I booked this hotel as a cheap 1 night stay before a cruise, so I was only expecting the basics. However, the room was very modern & comfortable, the staff speak English very well and are incredibly helpfull (Aspecially with directions). Food was above average (very nice but nothing special) and the bar prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all.

Had a great time in Alassio, its a lovely town, clean and with a great long sandy beach and is a smart upmarket Italian resort. The hotel is perfectly situated just tucked one block from the beach and the pedestrianized shopping street, it was quiet and as we had an upper room had views across the rooftops to the sea. The hotel staff were excellent very friendly and spoke English, we used the hotel bikes to go along the coast both days, they looked after our bags on the last day and were very accommodating in general. Breakfast was varied and lovely it set you up for the day. We used the train form France and the station is only a 10 minute walk away or short taxi ride. They have a lovely new wellness centre at the hotel with jacuzzi, steam, sauna etc although you pay extra for this. All in all a great break and we would stay here again.

We LOVED this hotel. I think in our Italian travels this was our favourite. I had booked ahead of time, and asked for a room with a view. They put us on the top floor with a large private balcony, that overlooked the sea and town!!! WOW. What a view. The beach is right accross the street, and we had no trouble parking. Parking was tight, but it worked out just fine. The breakfast was good, and the coffee amazing. The room was a bit older, however, it had 2 bedrooms and we wished we stayed longer here. Up the street from the hotel is an amazing sea food restaurant and dance club on the beach right accross from the water. Ecellent service! Close to Monte Carlo and Nice France as well. We did day trips there. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is really geared to families with children, only. The pool is too small and overtaken by kids all the time, there should be an adult swim time at least every two hours or so. The rooms do not have ac and the bathrooms are very small.
The beach at Finale Ligure is nice but really crowded, at least in August.
The best thing was Finalborgo at the walking distance with some nice restaurants and nightly performances at the piazza.
