"Amazing location, clean, recommend you stay here!"
We booked two rooms here for a family of five in August. The rooms are HUGE by Parisian standards - both were suites, really, with a sitting room area and a bed room, full bath (tub, stand up shower, sink, toilette, counter space) that is quite large, and a kitchenette with two burners, a hot pot for water, microwave, sink, refrigerator and some dishes. The rooms were exceptionally clean, but they are still definitely quaint old Paris, with a narrow winding staircase (there is an elevator too) heading up to your room, large windows that open onto the street, etc. We were on the 2nd and 5th floor. The beds were comfortable, lots of soft pillows. One bedroom had a sofa couch my 14 year old son slept on - no complaints. Due to the amazingly central and lively location on the left bank, we were worried about noise - it was a bit noisy early in the evenings - reminders for us to get out there and enjoy Paris with everyone else - but by 10:30 pm it was very quiet. The staff was very gracious. Breakfast was available through their "sister" property across the street, but we didn't take it, as there is a patisserie around the corner and several cafes offered breakfast as well nearby. The free wifi was fast and always available in both rooms. The location is amazing - countless restaurants, cafes, creperies and bars right outside the door, , the Seine, St. Chappelle and Notre Dame two blocks away... No problems recommending this hotel.
