"Great Hotel, Great Location!"
We were very pleased with our six night stay at the Hotel Adriano. The location is excellent for two reasons. First, it is conveniently located within walking distance from so many places. We easily walked to Piazza Navona, Vatican, Pantheon, Piazza del Popolo, Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps, and the Colosseum. Second, because it isn’t located at any particular tourist attraction, it doesn’t have the massive crowds nearby and the associated noise.
We stayed in a Superior Twin Room on Floor 2. The room was very clean and bright, and had plenty of space for luggage and for hanging clothes. The twin beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. A curtain separated the bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom had a tub/shower and sink. The toilet and bidet were located in another room off the bathroom with a frosted glass door separating the two rooms. There were plenty of power outlets in the room. An outlet in the bathroom could be switched to provide 115V but it would not accommodate a polarized US plug. You still need a US-European plug adapter to use it.
The front desk staff was very friendly and spoke English. They cheerfully handled our tourist questions and requests for taxis. The wonderful lady that took care of our room provided us with extra pillows and towels when we asked her in Italian, which wasn’t a problem for us.
The breakfast buffet was very good with scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, fruits, breads, coffee, juices, etc.
