3 star Porto Vecchio, Ajaccio - Southern Corsica Hotels

Porto Vecchio was constructed on salt marshes in the southeastern coast of Corsica. The marshes were drained in the mid 1900s, but an annual salt harvest is still held in September. Tourists travel to the area for the beaches and marinas, and to relax in seaside resort towns where outdoor entertainment fills the streets. The region is also bordered by mountains, ideal for trekking and sightseeing.
