We have stayed on 3 previous occasions at the royal victoria ,every time has been very good ,the food is excellent ,breakfast has an excellent choice and the bar meals are also very good ,we have two small dogs ,there is a charge for these and mention on booking.Dogs used to be welcome in the bar area but due to recent refurbishment they are now longer allowed in the bar area.but we were allowed in the lounge area with them to have our bar meal and drinks .
The hotel is just right for mountain bikers ,walkers as it has drying rooms available in the event of wet gear .Autum breaks are also good value .
The staff have always been most helpfull and friendly and well mannered.
Helpful staff, wonderful location, four poster beds and a spa. Not bad for £55.
The only downside was the price of dinner. But a 10 minute walk into the town past a wonderful river, one can find lots of places to eat.
Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, restaurant and bar area were very pleasant. Room was a little dated, but very clean and had everything you needed. Couldn't ask for more at the price!
First time in Llandudno and were very impressed. The hotel is on the outskirts of town so is nice and quiet. Just around the corner is a fabulous view of the hills across the Irish Sea. Probably 10 or 15 mins walk into town but taxis are cheap if you don't want to walk. Lots of nice little places to visit, too many to list. Plenty of shops, pubs, resaurants and cafes. We only stayed 3 nights/4 days so needed more time but managed to pack quite a lot in.

For the cheap price that I paid, this hotel was a pleasant find. The room was spotless, Only stayed one night. As others have mentioend, it is mostly a hotel for seniors. Only negative I found was that nothing is open - no coffee, etc before 8am. 7 would have been better for those of us who like an early start.
