Not much I can say as was quite a fleeting visit but my partner and I were very impressed with the hotel - especially as the price was so reasonable.
In essence the hotel was all we required - comfortable and clean room - good breakfast selection and reasonable price again.
Only drawback being the small lift if you can class that a drawback

Small but lovely room just across from la Tour Montparnasse. Great price for such a convenient location. Room was small but very nicely furnished and decorated. Great bed with very nice bedding and draperies. Desk, closet. Bathroom is small and only has shower. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

My daughter and I had an excellent stay at The Legend for our first trip to Paris. The location was central and we walked easily to shopping, metro, Luxembourg gardens, Notre Dame, Musee de Orsay and more. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The best feature was the tempur-pedic bed made up impeccably with high thread count linens and perfect pillows. When I commented about the bed's comfort to our concierge she replied, "It's the best bed in Paris!" We felt so fortunate to find this hotel for our first trip. 5 stars all around.
"Brilliant hotel. Completely safe. We stayed there"
Brilliant little hotel, couldn't fault it at all. Hotel staff were really friendly, and the room was just beautiful. Only 5 minute from.the nearest metro station which had links to all the major tourist places like the Eiffel tower.
We enjoyed our stay of 3 days at this quant hotel. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. They offer a daily breakfast at an additional charge but we went to the pastry shop down the street each morning. You are a few blocks from the Metro and close to a lot of restaurants. The front desk also arrange airport transfer for 4 of us at only 65E which was a deal. I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was close to several metro lines and bus routes (which we frequently used, and even late at night you felt safe). It was also close to the L'Open hop-on-hop off bus (although we didn't use it). And to Galerias Lafeyette. There are many restaurants within 5 min work of the hotel, as well as a couple of corner stores to buy snacks etc. The staff were all very friendly and spoke English. They were happy to look up routes on the internet for us, and even print off a walking route on one day. The room was small but very clean - we had 2 single beds but could walk around the edge without problems. The room was more than adequate, with minibar, small wardrobe, TV, ipod docking station / speakers, small table and chair. The window opened on to the street, but the double glazing was excellent, so we were never disturbed during our week long stay by traffic as long as the window was shut. There was an efficient air-conditioning unit. I would recommend the hotel to friends and colleagues in the future

I ditto what the other reviews said about the excellent location, close to metro lines and restaurants. But, what was not mentioned is that there is a Monoprix (the French version of Target or Wal-Mart). The downstairs is the grocery section where you can get fruits, snacks, wine, liquor, and water. A liter of Vittel mineral water cost 0.60 euros. Go here for your grocery shopping if you're on a budget.
Yes, my room was small and I figure the size had to be mentioned so that Americans who are so used to oversized American hotel rooms would not be caught off guard. However, I must admit that the two of us had a problem fitting two roll aboards in the room. The bathroom on the other hand was plenty large with a tub, a sink, a shower and commode and plenty of room to maneuver.
Our room was on the main floor at the end - No. 9. It was very quiet, very clean room with a firm bed and very clean bathroom. I felt that the price was reasonable (Paris is an expensive city) and the room was a great value. In addition to air conditioning, the WiFi is free and there is a TV. Breakfast was not included in the price, but at 12 euros, you get a large variety of breakfast food (coffee, tea, orange juice, tartines, croissants, deli meats, eggs, cereal, fruit) and it's all you can eat. You couldn't get a better deal at the local cafes.

"Great location, everything within walking distance"
My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Sevres St. Germain for 7 nights. We stayed in room 22 on the 3rd floor. The room was very quiet. It was a tiny room, but this is normal for hotels in Europe. Everything in the room was well thought-out and there was plenty of room for all our stuff. The decor was bright, modern and cheerful. The bed was a little hard, but that's a very personal preference. The only thing missing was a mirror at the desk (to be able to use a curling iron - the outlet was too far from the full length mirror). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby has a cute lounge area with a bar, so you can sip on a nice bourdeaux at the end of your day. What really makes this hotel stand out is its location. We visited La Grande Epicerie de Paris nearly every day. It's only a half a block away, towards rue de Sevres. Just down a few doors from the hotel is a fantastic boulangerie. We stopped there for morning croissants and baguettes. Across the street there's a good little Italian restaurant, and in the other direction, towards rue de Cherche Midi, there's a corner bistro that makes yummy croque monsieur.
