Location very central, many restaurants close by, staff were extremely helpful and charming. Room very quaint and clean and with kettle, LCD TV and bathroom very clean with bidet. Very fast wifi and it is free.
Stayed 2 nights October, 2014. Hotel an easy 3 block walk from the station, although a decent walk from the city area, but there is the Metro. Rooms were nice, clean and quiet, which was wonderful after 6 weeks of travelling through Italy and mostly noisy rooms making sleeping difficult.. We were 2 couples in 2 rooms. Beds really comfortable. Great shower & bathroom. Breakfast included which was also very good with ample choices. Free wifi, and fast for a change.
Bars and restaurants nearby, including a fantastic one across the road named Dinky Ristorante - Pizzeria.
Would have no hesitation in staying here again and highly recommend it.

This hotel was recommended in the Rough Guide so when there was just one room available for our dates, at short notice. I snapped it up - and we were glad we did. Yes, it lacks a bit of character but the upside of that is that the facilities and furnishings are very modern, and spotless. And yes, it's on a main road and is a bit noisy from the trams - but the obvious upside of that is that the trams are very close. However, the best thing is the position, and it isn't necessary to use public transport at all for the main sights. The rooms are a bit small, but the price is very reasonable for a city-centre hotel. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast buffet is varied and served in a very pleasant room, though our only slight quibble is that the coffee, orange juice and croissants are are usually better in Italian restaurants (but again, it's reasonably priced). The hotel doesn't do evening meals, but there is a superb restaurant next door that does - we went there for each of our five evenings! There is also, unusually for a city-centre 3-star hotel we think, a very pleasant bar. There is a charge for wifi but at least one nearby café has free wifi.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was very good, just a little small, but had everything one needed for a short stay. Breakfast was buffet style but plentiful and the coffee is excellent. The hotel location is perfect for a visit to Milan - there is a metro stop just across the road but we prefer to walk and everything is within walking distance, giving you the opportunity to see the city.
Palazzo delle Stelline is a wonderful choice for any stay in Milan, I would recommend it to anyone who would like to have a pleasant and different experience in that city. First of all, it is reasonably priced; second, its location could not be better, across from the church where Da Vinci painted his well-known masterpiece, The Last Supper, a mural (but please reserve your visit to that church in advance!) and close to main metro stations (including Cadorno, the last stop of Malpensa Express, the train which serves the trip from & to the airport), as well as close to several cafés and bars. From the Palazzo you can walk to all the main attractions & museums, including the Duomo, the Pinacoteca di Brera, etc. Also, almost all rooms face a magnificent central patio, which gives the hotel a special charm, like the one you get in a spiritual retreat. Finally, it is very well maintained & managed, rooms are comfortable, ¡and the breakfasts are superb!
Excellent location. We walked everywhere. Very friendly staff, fantastic full breakfast. The room is spacious with big nice bathroom. Modest, but perfectly functional furnishing. Added bonus - it is on a quiet side street.
