The hotel is brand new, great facility. The hotel staff are very unexperienced and no one speaks English except a few of the front desk team members. We went to the restaurant and notices the server brought our food across the street from a different resturant, it was uncovered, not very cleanly. When we paid we had to walk over to the restaurant to pay via credit card. Also, the hotel charges 300 bought per person to go to the airport, redicoulius. We asked to speak to the manager but the manager was offsite.
We took the ferry from Krabi to Don Phi Phi Island and the Bay View Hotel, our trip was supposed to be 2 and a half hours but took about 3, it was very pleasant. The Harbor was quite busy but the sun was shining and the water was very clear so I did not mind waiting for the crowds to stop pushing to get off the boat. Everyone has to pay 20 BHT which is approx 35 to 40 pence to enter as this money is used to keep the beaches clean. I found Phi Phi one of the cleanest I have visited. We were then put into a longtail boat and transferred about 5 mins to the hotel. Our first thoughts were PARADISE, a truly wonderful setting, right on the beach. Our bungalow was part of the new phase that had been built and they were still working on the landscaping in our area. The room was small, with 2 single beds, a TV, nice big terrace and the bathroom was a wet room style. Very nice, comfortable and clean. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. The breakfast buffet was a little limited for me but perfectly adequate. The beer at the bar was quite expensive but there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby which are much cheaper. If kayaking out to a deserted beach and swimming and snorkeling with no-one around is your thing then this place is for you. I will be booking again for next year. Downside, hotel a little bit hilly if you are not able bodied.
After a few days in rustic areas, this hotel was paradise. The location couldn't be any better, you eat breakfast right on the beach! The sand is lovely, easy to walk everywhere without sandals and 30 second walk to a little path way with shops and a bar.
We were very sad to leave.
The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful beaches in Phi Phi. It very calm and you can do snorkel there.
Being off-season, they were working on a number of reforms, that was pretty annoying. We were on the beach and a few meter there were a noise construction.
The breakfast was great and the restauran was ok but expensive.
The room was nice and has amazing views.
