This hotel is small and quiet, out of town but within walking distance of the centre. The rooms are spacious and most seem to enjoy a secluded balcony. The management and staff are, without exception in our experience, friendly and eager to oblige and please.
The hotel shows it's age in smaller detail, for instance there are bath tubs in the bathrooms but the shower over the tub works well enough.
The majority of guests are older and this maintains the quiet atmosphere, it is not a place for those holidaying for the night life.
We were very pleased with our stay and are planning to return.
"10 minute walk to downtown, 5 minute walk to beach"
I would not hesitate to stay in Elite Apartments again. My apartment was fully furnished and comfortable for a week or month long stay. It was clean. Everything worked well. There is a grocery store across the street at which I bought food; I ended up eating out very rarely. The owner was usually in his office or nearby repairing equipment. He was very friendly, greeting me and asking if all was well with the apartment each time I saw him. The apartment building is toward the out-of-town end of the main tourist street, straight back from the harbor. Kos itself is a wonderful place to visit. I had the most relaxing vacation of my life.

Disappointed with the quality of the food. Mostly cold and not heated properly. Pork chicken and burgers all week.
Meat appeared to be scraps, and bones.
Eggs cold must be a health problem.
No variation in the menu.
Had to ask for cutlery always missing from the tables.
Not enough salt and pepper pots to go round.
Entertainment was lacking in the bars upstairs.
Wine very below standard.
Coffee always cold.
Lack of spirits and tonic behind the bar.
Cocktails offered were not on offer as the spirits etc were not available to make them.
Clean and comfortable and really nice staff. I was B and B and breakfast was plentiful but not much choice. Quite a long way from the beach and even further to the main street so maybe not really suitable for people who have limited mobility. Staff very helpful and if you booked trips through the hotel the coaches picked you up and dropped you off right outside. If you're looking for good value this could be for you.
The Family Village resort is situated high above its family members within the Mitsis Resort; they include, Norida Beach, Summer Palace and the jewel, Blue Domes. Having walked through all the Mitsis Village hotels the first impression is that the Family Village is truly the poor relation. Reception was most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room boasted a seaview which was lovely. It was airy and was cleaned very well daily when fresh towels were provided The whole resort is sprawled over the side of a fairly steep hill so if you have difficulty walking or have young children I recommend that you request a room nearer the restaurant. The restaurant was ok and the staff were most attentive. The standard and variety of cold buffet was good however, the hot plate was rather bland. The main pool was salt water cleaned each day but still in need of a deep clean. The edge of pool was deeply stained with grease and grime. The beach was lovely and clean, sunbeds and umbrellas in abundance; with ample refreshment. A wide variety of Water Sports on hand pedalos and canoes free, transport to and from the beach. Taxis to the hotel from the Airport cost 22 Euro,. Animation Team was rather poor however it was only a token effort because it does not get into full swing until July.
I used a single room.
Room was compact but clean and neat. Modern style.
Very close to the downtown, bus terminal, and port.
What a great sea view.
Kind people. Free wireless at the lobby and restaurant.
Strongly recommend !!
