This was a peaceful and remote location for a nice getaway. We went January 1, 2014 for a couple of days. The room was clean. Everything was quiet. There are activities on site like kayaks and a huge 'zip' line park. The price for the zip line was a bit pricey (1600 b). I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway. It is centrally located to many tourists attractions and parks. The bed are comfortable too. The food in the restaurant was some of the best I have ever tasted in my 2 year stay in Thailand. The entrance drive to this site is difficult to find and not well marked....use your GPS or google map to locate it...if you pass the temple...you went too far...go back one driveway. Enjoy There is more to offer here than we took advantage of...give it a try.

A very very hard to find resort. Unfortunately there is no sign in english and even our Thai driver missed it and we had to go back to find it. The resort itself Pleasant and clean. Great location and right on the River Kwai... Very close to Hellfire Pass and Kanchanaburi. The staff were very polite and even though it was anzac day the following day, managed to find us an extra room for a friend on short notice. The rooms were basic and comfortable. Dinner in the resturaunt was lovely however breakfast was more than a little disappointing. The only western food there was fried eggs which were pretty ordinary!!

We found it a wonderful experience. Located on the river in a forested setting. Friendly staff who went out of their way to help us. Quiet, serene and located away from the crowd. We stayed longer than we planned.
Hotel is big, cheap and not very cheerful.
Has a feel of an old Eastern Block 70's Hotel.
The corridor was akin to an office block or school.
Bathroom moldy and unclean.
Staff very nice.
This hotel caters mainly for Chinese tourists.
This hotel was very disappointing. It is a very long way outside of Kanchanaburi, in the middle of nowhere. Although the grounds of the hotel were lovely, the staff were uninformed of any trips around the area -this was surprising as we discovered through meeting people that there is lots to see and do. The hotel looks lovely from the outside but unfortunately does not live up to the same standard on the inside. The rooms are very dated.
