The reception team was very kind and helpful! Excellent customer service! a little bit disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Not a lot of choice. The bed was comfortable but we felt the room was small even for 2 people.
The room was very clean everyday!
I travelled alone and felt very safe there. (The maid even left the tip I left in tact when I come back to the room.) Just a step away from tram station and every major spots were in a walking distance.
Breakfast was awesome. Took massage at the last day in the spa within the hotel, it was great, too! Absolutely recommend.

The Historia's biggest single asset is its central location - three minutes walk to the square with the Blue Mosque to one side, Hagia Sophia on the other and the tram route 1 on the north side allowing rapid access to other fascinating places. The archaeological museums and Tokapi Palace are only a few minutes walk further beyond this square. The hotel is small, but professionally run. Front desk is manned 24 hours a day. The buffet breakfasts are excellent, with a wide choice of tasty dishes. My room was well maintained and cleaned, with the bottles of fresh water and toiletries being replaced as necessary.
My room had a great view over the Sea of Marmora. It was not quiet; city noises, including the railway, calls to prayer, ships' sirens, seagulls and the yowling cats all contributed to the atmosphere. Also there was nowhere to rest my laptop - no writing desk or table. And the wi-fi was shakey to put it mildly. There was only one electrical socket available - that powering the hairdryer in the bathroom. So I had to unplug the hairdryer whenever I wanted to run my laptop or recharge my phone.
The room and hotel were more than confortable with a healthy, plentiful breakfast included in the rate. Staff were always obliging and very helpful. Just a 30 metre walk from the tram-stop. Lots of restaurants nearby and an easy walk down to the ferry terminals.
We switched to this hotel after our tour of Turkey finished, and couldn't have been happier. The hotel is small, with warm and helpful staff. Their location is ideal, close to all the major sights. Our room was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with lots of choice. We would definitely stay there again.
Hotel Nena is perfectly located in the old town area of Istanbul, near many top attractions and public transportation. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace restaurant has an amazing view of the Bosphorus, with a complimentary breakfast that offers a variety of options. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Daughter and I were given a mini suite, one bedroom with 2 large beds, separate sitting room with sofa/bed, 2 bathrooms, 2 wardrobes, 2 TV's. Bathrooms and rooms spotlessly clean. Very helpful staff. Excellent nouvelle cuisine rooftop restaurant, reasonable buffet breakfast.Free wifi. Only slight drawback was on busy street with trams running past window, but excellent position centrally located near bars, restaurants, Topkapi Palace.
