Two rooms, three nights, one happy experience. We came in early December in what the locals refer to mid-season. The hotel is composed of many buildings in between which there is a small garden with hamocks and a pool with hot tub. The rooms are clean and on the small side, and we loved the coziness of the beds. When we had questions or requests, the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Moderately expensive, but reasonable by downtown Key West standards. Targeted to couples of all ages.

Arriving in the morning, we were lucky enough to find our room waiting for us. The staff was helpful & friendly. The property was clean & beautiful – a peaceful oasis. The privacy fence not only keeps out the noisy roosters, but creates a lush sanctuary in which to relax. Room #34 on the second floor, accessible by outdoor stairs to the private balcony area, was at least 25 feet tall with cathedral ceiling, two wood beams, and big windows with a king bed with an adequate mattress. There is plenty of room to maneuver around the bed, with a nightstand on each side. Three closets with full mirrors were on one wall. The dresser is a built-in with nine very large deep drawers. The flat-screen TV is opposite the bed, above the dresser, gets the minimum channels, but they did come in clearly. On the wall outside the bathroom are a series of switches that operate the room’s lighting. However, we could not figure out all of them – two seemed to do nothing. One switch might need to be pushed up to turn on, while the next one would need to be pushed down to turn on. Several have dimmer switches, but not everything dimmed. You won’t find an in-room phone or alarm clock. You need to bring your own if you want telephone service or an alarm. Because of the bright lights on the property and uncovered windows, the room is bright even at night – you may need a sleep mask. The front office has ear plugs if the rooster noises keep you awake. Bathroom was modern with a double shower.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel - the location being close to the beach and the trolley stop was ideal. The facilities, including the pool were good. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sumptuous. Overall, it was great experience.

Room had a kitchenette so we were able to cater for ourselves for breakfast and lunch. Bought supplies at a market a couple of blocks away, bakery nearby.
We weren't in the main building which I think would have been noisier and were in the back room away from the road noise.

"Wonderful hotel, beautiful grounds, just lovely."
What a wonderful, relaxing, beautiful motel right on the Atlantic..the rooms are great, we stayed in a ocean view king room and it was fantastic. The grounds are really lovely, tropical plants and flowers surrounding a calming and tranquil pool with a fun pool bar! We loved it and cannot wait to go back!

If you want a perfect getaway with your family this is the place. A great beach, location, the cottages with multiple rooms and the ability to easily do water sports was wonderful. We rented paddle boards for three days and navigated the cove. The tiki hut with breakfast and the dock overlooking the bay was amazing, thank you for a great stay. We will be back.
